Hi!
I modified a cutscene from the OC for my mod. The modification was simple: I changed the OWNER to be my NPC.
However, the background is not showing at all. This should happen at party camp, but instead of seeing the proper stage, you only see a violet color in the background.
I thought it may be because I choose my mod as "module" and "owner module" in the cutscene properties, but changing to have Single Player as "module" and my mod as "owner module" didn't fix this either...
Any ideas??
Thanks :-)
Modifying a cutscene from the OC for my mod makes the bg disappear.

Hmm this might sound a little obvious but I see no one else is replying. Have you cheked if your cutscene is still set to an area in the object inspector? Sometimes when you edit OC content it blanks certain fields that are supposed to be set.

Sorry for the delay, I wanted to make some tests. Thing is, the original cutscene doesn't have an area either, so I'm a bit lost... :-/
Thanks! :-)
Thanks! :-)

Are you "calling" the cutscene from dialog? If so, did you check the "At current location" box? Just an idea...

...right... where is this "at current location box" supposed to be exactly? :-/
Thanks (and sorry for the noobish question :-/ )

mm, have you set your participants to the stage places in the dialogue editor? The stage setup should be under the cinematics tab just above the log window. It sounds to me like you haven't assigned them.

Cinematics tab, first row, second from the right.
I'm guessing you want the conversation to happen in any are of the game, not a specific place? So the "Area" property of your cutscene should be set to "(None)", but the "Stage" property should be something - try any of the stages in the _Generic folder, they are really simple. Then make sure the "At current location" box in the dialog is checked and it should be fine.
