Which game has the OP been playing for the last months? Because the ME 3 multiplayer game absolutely needs the missle launcher, especially with Bioware nerfing all the good guns. You don't like glitching play private games or kick lvl1 players with the striker on gold/platinum!

just remove the possibilty to ever win like adding 50000 nanchese per wave and takking off our shields ands sending in us with melee

BTW, I have never run into a single missile glitcher in my 230 hours of playtime. Ever. Is it because I'm on PC? I've heard that it's not possible on PC.

Also they should really just add a "Toggle Missile Launcher" in the inventory screen so you can choose wether you want it on or off, it'd be a lot easier than the Heavy melee/ladder trick.

I have nothing to add to the actual topi at hand, but I did have an issue with this:

I actually feel like it's worse now. It's misleading, since it still has a long time between shots, and leaves me popping my head over cover without shooting quite often. It also has a buffer time before reloading, which is stupid; no other gun has that. Then, if you do the math, we can actually fire less shots in any given amount of time than before; we simply don't have to charge it.

I'd prefer to have the old charging Acolyte back, if I had a choice. It didn't get any better. If anything, it got worse.

I really don't think this game needs missiles. What's wrong with taking down bosses with your powers and guns?

The only time I ever felt I needed a missile was when I was swarmed by multiple enemies (phantoms, usually) and the rest of the team was down. It's a panic button. In that scenario, when I revive myself and shoot my left toe to clear the area, I probably didn't deserve to win anyway.

Bioware has said in their recent Q&A threads that they feel Gold is the difficulty that should present a real challenge, and that platinum is the difficulty for players who really want to test out their abilities. They don't expect people to beat platinum on a regular basis, and they don't expect bad players to even have a chance on gold. That's how they want it. So for those saying you can't take it out because of platinum hack waves, I don't think that's a good enough reason.

The acolyte feels a lot stronger to me, I don't know. Maybe it's because it's a lot easier to use.

I haven't played ME3 in around a week, but when I did play it, I never got any missile glitchers and I'm on the dreaded xbox. The missile launcher still serves its purpose, and missile glitchers are now less frequent than they apparently were before. (Still never seen any back then.)

Many threads on a fix idea for it already.
Make the cobra fire instantaneously like the other consumables instead of requiring it to be switched to like a weapon.
Missile glitch fixed.

they cannot "patch" the missile glitch without either taking away the charge up mechanic of all charge up weapons which obviously isnt going to happen as it would be a stupid idea... so bioware are going to have to stop being lazy and actually FIX the glitch rather than finding the easiest way out like making another rocket launcher rather than finding what has gone wrong and fixing that... hopefully glitch will be gone soon... i went into 2 games of plat with rocket glitchers then found 3 legit guys which we then competed it with...

taking out the rocket launcher would be a bad idea though its needed for those times when normal guns just dont kill fast enough

I think it would be better idea to include all heavy weapons in ME2, this would give a lot more variety to the fighting.

Obviously with its limitations, such as M-920 Cain must shoot once and the M-100 Grenade Launcher have to do half the damage of Cobra Missile Launcher.

Looks like its an Xbox issue. But removing the missle launcher? Just host a game and report every missle glitcher you see. That should fix the problem within a month.

Playing without it on gold/platin is like playing without shields in bronze/silver.

Leave the missile launcher alone, just fix the glitch. For the record, I've never seen anyone using the glitch, although I mainly play silver and bronze.

Yes, its an xbox issue.   But they need to do something to fix it.   One guy I ran into a few weeks ago in a gold match was glitching ( he meant to play platinum, but made a mistake ) said he had saved 2 billion credits for the new DLC release.  That is why we have to stop those lazy MF.  Yeah I reported him after he scores 260,000 in our Gold match.  I would be in favor of removing all the charge-up weapons if that is what is required to eliminate this kind of cheating.  If you wonder why the drop rate is low on UR, its probably because these suckers are flooding the market with ill-gotten credits.
