I got the following problem: Whenever I join a game I have been invited a "joining game" message appears.....it is infinite and the only way to end it is to shut down the game with alt+f4 and restart. This occurs on everyone inviting me, my neighbour, guys from the other end of the world, your location here.
It also occurs whenever a dude I invite joins. So no friends to play with.
And, to make matters even worse, I cannot even join randoms - just searching for games, then nothing happens.
Strangely, whenever I open a public lobby it works.....
This occured only occasionally until a few days ago.....please help me.
Multiplayer matches take endless to join.

My stuck-on-joining went away a week ago - when I got a new router.
So.. don't suppose you have an old rubbish router probably delivered by your ISP?
I guess you could try rebooting it, enable/disable UPnP and all that sort of stuff and there's a bunch of threads with lots of suggestions, just search stuck+joining. None of the ideas helped me.
I've endured the router my isp gave me for years; a zyxel p660r-d1. It could freeze on loading a long server list. So I bit the bullet finally and got me a D-Link 2750b, and suddenly ME3 let me join friend's games left and right, as if by magic.
I'm afraid I don't really know what changed... I know UPnP didn't work on the zyxel, despite claiming it did (upnp test program: www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/UPnP-Test.shtml). But it seems to work both with or without UPnP enabled.
I've only forwarded ports 3659, 6000 on UDP. Everything else is basicly default.
I know it's a ****ty answer...
