SO normally I would be playing with pugs and make myself feel good that I can get a decent score and stoof, but thats not what happened last night. I got invited by a new friend I made, and he said he'll help me get better and etc, but after a few games... it was hell. 

His headshot powers... are out of this world, and he out scored us... using a Volus with a typhoon... We also had a hard time finding enemies because he would kill them way too fast cuz of his headshots powers. I THIHNK HE NEEDS A NERF

On all seriousness, there's some pretty damn good people out there

I have played with players that made me feel so bad that i shouldn't be playing the game.

Now I wouldn't go that far by any means, I can carry my fair share in any game and more with bad players. The players I speak of seem to be able to make everything work (in most cases) even when it makes no sense to use something like they do.

I haven't come across anybody yet that could downright out-score me except for when I'm using a class I never use. I have come across plenty that could match me however. It's rather fun playing games where everyone is competing for the top spot on the scoreboard.

I've played with Sy7ar, Feneckus and Lord Sirian in random pugs. They really are playing at another level than us mortals.

3 or 4 days ago, I was hosting a PUG lobby, and Ashen Earth joined (as a random).

I was using a Turian Infiltrator with a Harrier III. He was a GI with a Javelin X.

Final score:

Ashen Earth 130-140K
Me 70-80K
Random 1&2 30-40K each

2-shooting Banshees (he even got 2 Banshees with one shot), destroying mooks respawns...

On my host.... Not fair, Bioware please nerf him.

I almost got to play with Uh Cold on Friday. I had yet to see anyone with more CP than me in a lobby. He and 1 other guy had way more than me. Anyone who can solo plat as a volus needs a nerf.

Then the host left the lobby and they all disappeared. Sad panda

And Jay is certainly good, when I played with him he eclipsed the score of everyone (I came 3 using an offensive geth turret build to unlock math mage banner) and came in second on the other 2 matches (still beat by 35k-45k score).

The only thing I regret is not using my best characters to see how I could measure up to him (don't think I could beat him anyways).

If one thing is annoying about the challenges is that if you want points you have to screw your own builds in favor of more diverse weapondry or power selection.

Ashen is crazy, same with Uh Cold. I can come close to matching Ashens score, but not top it. Only ever happened with my HSol sadly...

There are damn good players out there, it has been a pleasure to play with them.

Uh Cold is a great player as well from the few times I played with him. There are quite a few really good players out there and while I have topped all their scores at one point or another (from those I have played with) I wouldn't consider myself better than any of them.

I play with Lord Sirian a fair bit, and have also met xcalizorz and Stentron, but no-one makes me feel quite as bad at this game as Jay does.
