While score doesn't always matter you can tell by playing with someone enough that they are too good. They may not out score you every game but watch Gollum go to town with the Volus or Red Blitz with the drellguard if you want to feel bad about your skill.

Not playing PUGs doesn't necessarily mean playing with great players. Out of my friend list, I think only one or two are very good players, and none of them is near Jay's skill, probably. Yet, I rarely PUG nowadays and believe me, the game feels so much better while playing with friends. Mad-Hamlet, you're missing on something if you're only doing PUGs

If you're lagging less than RedJohn you have no excuses! If redjohn can top a scoreboard whilst teleporting all over the map then you sure as hell can put some effort in too!

I'd put Jay higher and 'The Rest' higher too. Don't sell yourself short. 

I was dead even sniping today with Feneckus when he was playing some of his best classes.

Gollum is a beast with that little guy. I forced him to solo the end of a wave with it because I was getting low on gels from having all the enemies respawning by me on an objective (Dragoons and Phantoms) and couldn't manage to get away and the 2 randoms we had weren't getting the objectives, so I had to hold them there too long and died a few times. I will say that I was impressed...

this is now the official fanboy thread too bad i'm on PS3, would love to play with some of those BSN celebrities sometime. who even are the best players on this board on PS3?

He is on Xbox, he is just an insanely good player (though I enjoyed watching him look like a scrub a few times).

As godly as Jay is, he's not as versatile as Stentron. Sten can obliterate everything with a melee paladin, an engineer with a Falcon, a Slayer, bla bla bla. Whereas Jay relies on his cyborg implants to get headshot after headshot, even if he's playing a quarian engineer with a Hurricane (seriously, wtf ? How can a human being get 20 headshots by wave 3 with that setup ?)

And I don't think "the rest" has either the versatility or the cyborg implants.

No fanboy here, I just know great players when I see them. When people talk about the best there are certain names that come to mind for a lot of people and even though there are a lot that aren't being named, the "BSN celebrities" (I dislike that title) are the people you generally see the most of.

Oh believe me I still top the scoreboard (usually by 100k+) but sometimes after soloing wave after wave after wave WHILE rubber banding everywhere and getting hit by enemies I can't even see (because they're around corners), I run out of medi gel or something on like wave 10 and can't carry the scrubs through.

Nobody can lag more than me!!!!!!!!

PS: we should try a game to see who is the worse host, you, me or Feneckus

I occasionally pub when drunk or under other influences *cough cough* and do remarkably well.
I  tend to talk A LOT more to the randoms I get paired up with as well.
I find it funny that I do it around the same time other people do it and I have gotten paired up with 3 other players who are on the same tip, lol good times.
