You can't nest quotes yet. It doesn't work, so please don't try
cause it's hard to read.

Mark the words, then click the appropriate button, enter the URL, and voila... so I think.n2nw wrote...

2) the "subscribe" button works pretty much exactly like the old "add to my topics"
3) other things (colour scheme, misc parsing errors) will all get fixed as time permits - remember the big blue "BETA" at the top of the site

For technology challenged people like myself, what is BBCode? I've seen it in the box, but wasn't sure what it did/does?

Seriously, you mean the link words? Hm....maybe I'll have to see what you mean next time I link.
And btw, when I go to click on a profile to request a friend, it just says, "add friend". Does that mean that I'll be "requesting"?
p.s. SO mad @ Urgnu for not requesting to be my friend yet. *pouts*

What's a BBCode and what do I do with it once I catch it? Soak it in milk till tender?

In addition, I noticed there was also some limited support for HTML tags (i, b, and a?). I wouldn't bother with those, though -- the BBCode is easier to use and does the same.

The BB is short for Bulletin Board. It's a standard syntax used by many forum software packages. BioWare only uses a very small subset of it, however: bold-face, italics, linking, lists, and quotes. The simpler codes are just standard HTML tags but with square brackets instead of < and > (e.g. {b}{/b} instead of <b></b>). You can see all the codes supported on the BioBoards here. I'm unsure where you can find a similar list on this site but I believe all codes on that list are supported here as well.<br />

You can drag smilies (and any type of image) to the title bar and the browser will take you directly to it, displaying the full URL.

I have no idea, what it's supposed to do. I mean, if you don't like the thread you don't post there, right? What's the point of giving it an arbitrary number of stars? Unless, there will be contests like *the best thread* and the result will depend on it.n2nw wrote...
