I recently got Black WIdow IX (my best UR), and I plan to use it to get the Sniper accomplishment.

So, what character is best suited for this weapon?

QMI, as you have Arc Grenades as an "Oh ****" button, or the Human Infiltrator for the same reason.

Krogan sentinel of course although a backup claymore is also a must. Accept no substitutes - if you're not near -200% recharge you're doing it wrong

I used the Salarian Infi with it to complete the commando challenge. And while i doubt i'll go back to it, i did a damn good job during those 200 waves

Drell vanguard.
Use it with Assualt rifle rail amp III, Shield Regen III, Shotgun amp V and Explosive rounds III.
The 0/0/0/0/1 build is best.

Either specced Geth infiltrator or Salarian infiltrator. I'm not sure if the destroyer still has a 4 shot black widow since I haven't played him much after the devastator mode nerf.

Basically, any infiltrator. But I really do love the BW most on a Salarian. It's amazing with him.

It's really such a good gun you can use it on just about anyone. If you want a new name the Turian Solider isn't bad if you can hit the head since he gets 30% headshot damage increase. Spec him for weapon damage, Marksman, and Proxy Mine to at least level 5 for the extract 20%. Now I didn't actually do this so I can't confirm the timing but a good combo should be... Proxy Mine, fire 3 headshots on a boss, then hit Marksman before reload so it autoloads and fire 3 more into the head.

I used mine on my Salarian infiltrator though. Tactical Cloak spec'd for damage and proxy mine.

Well, I already have the Citadel Operative accomplishment, currently sporting Machinist, so I guess I'll go with the QMI.

I am surprised though that Sal Inf is the best sniper.

So many DLCs, so many updates, and the Salarian Infiltrator is still the best sniper in the game.

For my BW IV, I use my Female Quarian Infiltrator.

Both Quarian infiltrators are good for using the Black Widow.

I use it only on QMI.
My SI has Proximity Mine as debuffer, so I prefer to play him with Javelin (max damage).
My GI has Geth weapons damage bonus, so Javelin too.
I need lower cooldown for Sabotage and long Tactical Cloak, so I use N7 Valiant on QFI.
TGI is build for assault rifles, so... no sniper rifle for him from me.

BW is Geth weapon so you're best using it with Geth Infiltrator.

In combination with PM it's devastating.

Works well enough on N7 destroyer - can use both +50% extra weight mods (thermal scope + pierce//damage barrel) and not care (4 round clip)... + he can also carry a Piranha//Raider//Claymore with extra weight mods(shotgun pierce//damage barrel + accuracy choke) for close range work ...

Any class can use the the black widow if speced weapon damage wise on the class branch. most of the Inflitrators and soldiers will get added bonuses from their other skills which also increase weapon damage. That said you may get a few frowns from people if you are rocking a vanguard with a sniper rifle black widow or not!

If you're not great with headshots, or need added help then pick a class that has stasis or a form of long range freeze/stun (most classes have this)

Any class with a good shield/barrier stripping power

SI: TC->ED -> Headshot
GE: HM(all power talents)/Overload(6b req.) -> Headshot

These two work best since they stun almost all humanoid enemies and don't mind the weight

i think you need to look at the descriptions again

I'd give him half credit the widow is a Geth design.
