What about weapons? For shotguns I have a level 1 Wraith, a level 3 Piranha, a level 10 Disciple and a level 10 Eviscerator. The Wraith and Piranha are both really heavy at these low levels and I fear that they would negatively impact her RC speed vs the Eviscerator.

As for mods, I have all of the mods at level 5. Any advice would be appreciated.

Indeed, this is the absolute definitive Asari Vanguard build. All others are utter noobishness.

Barrell and Smart Choke.  What you want to do is charge, shotgun to the face, throw grenades, and charge again.  Charging with power synergy makes your lift grenades hit for around 2800 hp's so she can clear out spawns quickly.

My recommendation exactly, except for the weapon Here's my suggestion (again, exact same build except for loadout). This is the build I am currently playing with.
Note that I have nothing against the Eviscerator, it's just that playing the Talon is a different type of fun (headshots ). Also, you can switch between different weapons in case you're missing some consumables. Spend some credits into Jumbo Equipment Packs by the way ; getting into a Gold game with 0 Spec Ops Pack is kinda suicidal, even with a Vanguard.

Have fun OP ! Played adequately, you can definitely top the scoreboard on Gold. Experiment with it on Bronze/Silver so you know how to toss those grenades efficiently and when to charge (or not...) and then bring her to Gold.
