On Nightmare level. Seriously, I have Shale, Morrigan and Leliana and when I'm stunned I'm left with leliana and morrigan dropping like flies then shale getting swarmed. I can't hold them away from the battle cause when the convo scene starts they get moved in anyway. Suggestions?

nvm, using tactics to kill the mage first works well

Hey, I've been searching everywhere in the tower for this guy. There is nothing left in the tower to do, but I wanted to complete this little side quest. Where did you find him?

you also get the chance to dose up on potions etc etc before the battle starts as you have to walk to start the cutscene.
Haste. warmth barm and shield morigan if she is your only mage. If you have it mana clash will kill the mage in one, throwing flasks will do some damage as well if you set the action as a first attack for Shale and any other NPC's you want.
