Dear BioWare,

Whilst everyone else is enjoying their complaints and finally having their moment to **** long and hard...I must point out that I've got nothing to complain about   This is not only contrary to my reasonable expectations as a gamer, it is contrary to the entire premise of PC gaming. You've failed once again.

Even the customary "slow BioWare start" followed by the requisite  Overly Tedious Two Hours of Backround/Setting the Scene Dialog seems lacking in this game. Despite the many promises in the past of each game being better than the last -- which such promises have been frequently untrue -- this game is so far, the best you've ever done.  Even your Epic Inability to Live Up to Excessive Hype seems to have failed you.

I'm sorely disappointed in your design, artwork and QA for ruining my out of box experience and denying to me that beloved Fruit of Fandom otherwise known as The Gripe (Sour).

I want my Sour Gripe, and I want it now!! I know it's in here somewhere. Perhaps it's under the cloth map or maybe I just need to activate my Special Promo Code to download it first...

*shakes fist*

I love the game. I'd buy it again in a heart beat. It will probably be the only game I play for the next 3 months. That being said, there are certain improvements I hope they or modders are able to make in time for my next play through. I'm happy you don't feel that way though.

And I enjoyed your post.

Love the game, but there are a few bugs that should be fixed. Of course no software nowadays comes without bugs :P

In any case, it's an overall good job.

I'm sure I will encounter a few bugs before all is said and done. I have encountered them here on the website. But so far in the game itself? Not one.

As perfect a beginning game experience as there could be.

Started playing yesterday and love the game so far. Just stayed patient and waited one day before trying to redeem my codes.

Now... can't wait for the toolset!

iI feel the same way, and i cannot believe the potential this game has for a second playthrough, not just with the different race and class, but the amount of mods that will come out in the coming months.

from just improving texture and performance, to probably fully fledged storylines :D

i haven;t spent £40 on a pc game in years, but this game without doubt is worth double that.

I am sure for those people who have exeprienced some aspect of the game that is not working with their hardware, it's been a frustrating experience. It's not a terribly helpful comment to those people to shout out: "works fine here".

That said, it's also not fair to BioWare and thoe people who may be deterred from purchasing the game to paint an inbalanced picture of doom and gloom. That certainly isn't a justifiable view of DA:O from where I'm sitting.

I've played 2 origins (city elf and magi) and a little bit of what follows, and the game has me hook, line, and sinker.

I will say the first hour or so of magi play really truly blew my mind. Don't worry, no spoilers here. Let's just say that it is very memorable and the dialogue / environment is perfect and leaves juuust enough clues for you to understand what's up.

Whole heartedly agree.  This game is unbelieveable.  I'm rushing through work so that I can get back to it.

Take all of the complaints here with a grain of salt.  The only people posting here are having problems.  The other 98% are playing the game and loving it.

Is it bad that I'm not even done one play through and I'm already begging for a sequel?

Outside of being incredibly immersive, this is singlehandedly the most finely tuned and polished game I have ever seen out of the box. And it's only going to get better with future DLC and community content...

Bravo.

I played through the Dwarf commoner origin story and It gave me a very good first impression of the game.

Blizzard does make well rounded addictive products. Are they good? Well thats rather subjective in my honest opnion.

The thing that has stood out to me is that I have had a few good chuckles at the dialogue getting thrown around (great voice acting)  and also mumbling to myself wanting a pair of my party members to quit the constant bickering and banter while im exploring. I've just gone as far as to replace one with the dog so I can get some peace and quite.

Yeah, I'm loving every second of the game so far too, this is the first game without multiplayer that keeps me hooked for more than 1 full day (for some reason I always lose interest in singleplayer games, I guess because I miss communicating while I play it).

Also alot of people complaining about how terrible or outdated the graphics are, I'm honestly overwhelmed by the graphics (settings are all on max and FPS never goes below 30, so **** smooth), these graphics are how I wished the NWN2 graphics were.

You can't expect a game like this to have Crysis graphics, the artstyle wouldn't even fit a game like this in my opinion.

Also all the complaints about the camera, I'm liking this camera ALOT more than the NWN2 camera.

Another thing that I really like: the Wallie-card payment option for Bioware points, I used it and bought the Warden's Keep DLC, otherwise I would never be able to buy DLC because I haven't got a credit card.

I agree. Dragon Age is amazing, that's about all I can say. I've been a Bioware fan since the beginning but hats off to you guys, you outdid yourself with this one.

Seriously, please congratulate the team!
