Reading about the bigger zones that will feature in DA3 is pretty damn awesome. There is one concern though imo and that is the zones eventually being virtually empty of enemies and such. In DAO and DA2, you could revisit areas after having completed the main quests in them, sometimes they would have some form of enemy encounter left, like the Brecilian forest in DAO had werewolf stragglers after you were done there, but then it'd be a empty place indeed. So I'm kind of wondering if BioWare are going to take a less constricted approach to this in DA3, meaning that there would be enemies to fight when most of the story stuff related to said area is done. After all, imo, having a huge open space with nothing to do in it isn't all that fun after all. Even going back to explore is made more fun by having something to beat on whilst you're doing it instead of just pressing the W button.

I think empty zones just add to the atmosphere. There should be empty rooms/areas with nothing interesting in them.

I always found it quite annoying when I headed back to the forest for one final piece of the Juggernaut armour or to do that favor for certain interested parties or whatever and I had to fight enemies that didn't really add anything to the experience they were just randomly there.. Fighting werewolves as part of the story made sense but afterwards it just slowed me down

I think how populated zones are when revisited after story-related stuff is done with depends greatly on how much BioWare is willing to deviate from their traditional anti-grinding/ anti-respawning/anti-randomly spawning policy.
