The reason I'm most confused about Darpaeks comment is that archangel says he works in Japan. Does Darkpaek think we're fighting a war there or something? I have a feeling it's kinda hard to go about killing people even if you're in the army when you're in a country which we're at peace with.
I fight a war with the Japanese every time I drive too and from work
You have to help fend off all the giant monsters that seem to attack them ever other week, or so old movies would lead us to believe.

My congratulations, if only on your bravery for saying something like this knowing three pages of "patriotic" types would then flame you silly for "disrespecting the soldiers"... <_<

When using paypal have it take directly from your bank account and not from your check/debit/credit card. Completely bypasses the address verification. I'm in Japan too and it works for me.MrGOH wrote...

Here is what you do to bypass the FPO/APO address thing for the military. I am a Navy veteran of 8 years (GO NAVY). Go to usps.com and under zipcode locator put in the FPO zipcode and it should resolve to say CA or NY and from there put your address like:
Unit XXXXXX
FPO AP, CA XXXXX
That should solve your problem
That didn't work....however...while looking at my Paypal account I realised that I had given my parents address in NC as my alternate address...I tried that one and it took it
So I can now download the one piece of DLC that I don't own for the game I don't have yet
Awesome, though for my gamer friends serving overseas, I hope Bioware fixes the issue.

That could take a while though. I know when I use my bank account through paypal it's an e-check that can take up to a week to clear.

I don't understand the resentment some display... of course I never met one that would do it to my face though.
As for your dilemma, I have always had to get help from others with a regular address.

Thousands have given their lives so you have the freedom to even make that statement. We will not go into your obvious stupidity.
For shame...

Or just get your education on the military's dime. Free tuition assistance, grants available, GI Bill... all there for the willing.
Beats spending the first 10 years of your professional life fending off the debt collectors.

Yep, because all the military does is kill things, right? They don't help with natural disasters, combat terrorism, or anything useful. And you know _everyone_ can get a college loan because banks are just handing money out left and right.
You can get a college loan if you join the military.
