No it's things that are supposed to be human, like androids and CGI humans, that just don't look or act quite human. Like this:



A female Turian isn't meant to be human nor does it even look human, so it can't enter the uncanny valley as Turians aren't even real in the first place.

That's not the symbol for Barrier, it looks similar to Biotic Sphere.

Turns out it's neither.

Biotic Sphere is Sphere Biotique while Barrier is Barriere.

Where do you see the symbol?

That looks like Biotic Sphere with little medical crosses inside of it. Could be something new?

Either way, the game doesn't list any current power as Protection Biotique.

Judging from the medical symbols inside it I'm guessing it's a biotic sphere that's aimed more towards healing you than protecting you from damage.

Very interesting. Any word on if she'll be a permanent squadmate like Zaeed and Kasumi, or just a temporary one like Dr. Amanda Kenson in Arrival? I'm assuming Aria is 100% temporary considering her position on Omega. Kinda searching around a little but there's still just speculation it seems.
