It's far better than the comic look. Some things look a bit off, but I still like it.
Personally, I prefer her look to that of the Asari.
In short. This unit would perform docking procedures with her.
So you would insert your floppy into her disk drive?
Explore her RAM?
Overclock her mind?
Suffle her files?
Error report her mind?
BSOD her brain with gratuitous crashing?
Frazzle her help menu?
Install your Linux into her?
Upgrade her Vista?
Fraps her heart?
Explore her resource control?
Install your local drivers into her?
Penetrate her firewall?
Make her download your Virus?
Woooh!

As if they tried to make her look... I don't know, more human? But instead came up wrong.
At least they finally showed one. About time, I say.
Yeah, that's good and all.
But there is something off about her. The way her mouth has been softened in comparison to the male ones. And, above all, the lighter skin around her eyes.
....is anyone else here familiar with the term "uncanny valley"?
Ad like some one pointed out she reminds me of Voldemort or General Grevious

She does fall pretty hard into the Uncanny Valley.
Thing is. She's supposed to be Alien so in this situation it's actually A GOOD THING.
She does look a bit like she's wearing an exoskeleton.
Now I'm interested in Turian anatomy... why didn't BW release a damn Biology chart with autopsy reports on the races.
Dissection for science... and my personal amusement.

My only problem with the uncanny valley is that most other aliens in ME managed to avoid it. Add in the fact that her plating looks more like a mask that part of her body, and she just doesn't seem to fit the universe IMHOZiegrif wrote...

True. I see the mask aswell.
Personally I would have put longer headfringes on her.
Turians are also based pretty manly. Jagged faces, Scars, the facepaint is usually straight lines or square shaped squigglies. It's a very manly race made on manliness and men doing manly things to manly men in manly ways in a manly conga line.
She looks like a buff chick... A bit. Reminds me of Jack.
Also They seem to have put femininity in her by arching her fringes and headblades.
Her skull also seems to have wavy patterns.
They're all very sleek and jagged. Most pointed edges have round shapes aswell.
They pretty much pulled as many things they could to make a blade look more feminine.
Only thing missing are very long headfringes.
They seem to have pulled all the stops on womanely shapes to make one of the manliest races in ME as womanly as possible but still have some sense of Turian Ruggedness.
That's a frigging feat.
Now Batarian women. Now that's a pretty steep hill to climb design wise.
