I hate how Bioware simply made excuse after excuse for not including the female representation for at least four alien races in the entire series up until now.

It's most likely internal, concept art of Turians seems to suggest that. I doubt an Avian/Reptilian (I think Turians are the former) species would have external junk. Unless BioWare for some reason decided otherwise and simply omitted it to keep the art clean..... that would really suck, in my opinion.

The artists did a great job with them, considering they had to conform to the godawful comic version.

The back of the head still looks too human, however. Lack of neck plating unnerves me, so if there is an option to put a hood on them and reveal only the face, I'll take it.

If anyone, like me, wants some proper attribution, here's a comprehensive devart journal post with all the various screenshots. There is a youtube interview with Mike Gamble where he mentions a female turian as squadmate for Omega, but the images in this thread appear to originate from 4chan - apparently they're from a TwitchTV videocast that was taken down.

They look fairly legit and I love the design, but I'm taking the images with a huge pinch of salt until there is more definite confirmation. Either way, we're getting a female turian!

I think she looks pretty. For being a Turian, that is. I do wish she'd have those horn thingies on her head, but shorter than a male Turian's.

Am I the only one that noticed the difference in their mouth/jaw? The male Turians seem to have exposed teeth under the two mandibles at the sides, while the female seems to have a small opening for a mouth?

something more grotesque than the asari. I hope they at least put a helmet on it. The female one that is. I don't mind the males as much but they look best with their helmets on. Unfortunately they all have bad looking legs.
