Redeem Online Pass issue

Almost half a year ago, my old hard drive died on me. I wasnt able to uninstall or save any programs, Mass Effect 3 included. Luckily i kept many files *music, archives, docs. etc. on a external hard drive.* So i buy a new hard drive, install windows, download all the drivers and then i download origin and try to install Mass Effect 3 again + all the multiplayer DLC i had at that time.

To make the story short, i havent been able to play the multiplayer since probably June 2012. simply because the redeem online pass issue/bug. It's really annoying. Specially cuz there's no online pass for the pc.

Yes, i have contacted the EA service *4 or 5 times actually* explain the situation and they say the same thing, re-install the game. I did it, and the same redeem online pass issue. I feel like they are just messing with me.

Eventually i gave up and started playing other games, but i love the multiplayer on mass effect. Plus there's some awesome multiplayer DLC now, some i even made threads about it. So i really miss the multiplayer.

So can someone tell me, how to fix this issue. Cuz clearly EA support refuses to fix my situation.

This just popped up for me today too. It happened months ago and it was on EA's side. The agent has me re-installing ME3. He said it was a game files/registry. But when I asked if what reg keys could do this so I can make sure they are gone he wouldn't tell me. Asked if there were any hidden files I should worry about, nothing. When I tried to ask about network issues, because that what I think this is I couldn't get any info. I checked to see if I had LSP's that could be blocking, nothing. I have basically nothing for security software installed. Firewall is off. So im going to try to give EA a chance here. Follow their steps for now. I'll post an update if I can figure this out.

I called EA. They tried to log into my account on a test PC there. They couldn't. This, for me at least, is something EA side. Been on hold for a tier 2 for two hours. Call keeps dropping. There is a different post on this that is 90 some pages deep. Some good tips at the end. Good luck!

I've had this problem since the new multiplayer DLC was released - there have been regular threads about it too so its far from isolated, and it's the reason why I logged into the forum today!

So far I've contacted ME3AccountAdmin@bioware.com and confirmed my account is in good order and hasn't been banned (not that this was something i expected, but did it in the name of ticking every box). From there I have gone through the tech support options with several chat guys, repair install, reinstall, launch with admin rights, launch with different compatibility modes enabled, none of it worked at which point I was informed my ticket had been escalated and to expect an update within a couple of days. A week later I got a mail telling me that that I should expect a one to two week turn around on the issue due to current volume.

I'm now getting to the end of week three since that mail. At the beginning of the week I logged into live chat and asked if there had been any update and I was informed that there wasn't but not to worry as it will be taken care of. When pushed on a time frame I was told that in the advisor's experience it shouldn't take more than 17 working days to complete.

The last chat session can be summed up as "Shut up and go away" and although I understand the limitation of the chat support guys and don't expect a snap fix, when the only message I'm getting is to leave them alone and increase the amount of time I should expect to wait for a resolve and it's getting quite frustrating .

Went to live chat and have had a new key issued, I need to reinstall the game to under the new key so will update when i know if this has done the job

Edit 2: Looks like this worked, so get yourself to Live chat and request a new key rather than wait the ticket system!

Wow, it actually worked. It took a 45 minute phonecall but after the guy exhausted all other options he did the new product key thing and it's working now.

So yeah... I got this issue since yesterday. Managed to get the N7 Day banner and play Geth trooper once.. and then I got this thing.
I tried to contact people from BW and EA customer service but noone can really give me any anwsers. I appreciate their help very much, though.
But as I see, I can wait forever to fix this issue or I can ask for a new product key to start anew? I mean, loose all my manifest, all my characters, all my weapons and upgrades and consumables... and more importantly, over 400 hours played to get this? And I won't lie, I also spent real money to get the packs, not very much, but yeah... ;__;
Is there actually any person who got their account back online after having this issue, without loosing anything?

I mean, did you purchase any DLCs? Because I have all DLCs and I wouldn't want to loose them too.
It's kinda hard decision to abandon all your equipment, characters, weapons, etc. and hours invested into playing it.

All my multiplayer and DLC stuff is the same. It's just a new product key and new online pass. Your DLCs and MP stuff is tied to your account, not your key.

Actually here is a solution for people who get this issue.
I got this solved within 5 minutes and it isn't only me who got it fixed within 5 minutes WITHOUT loosing manifest or anything.
