Has playing as a batarian in multiplayer made you change your mind about them?

I think as of me3, introducing batarians into multiplayer was the best thing bioware ever did, seeing their unique fighting styles and weapons(kishocks, nets and blades, and the awesome falcon punch) batarians have really, for the first time, perhaps received a positive reception from players. As large brawlers who fight with weapons that maximize trauma they really stand apart from other brawlers(vorcha krogan), and have a deadly reputation.
What do you think? Has mass effect 3 multiplayer changed your mind about batarians?(if you disliked them before)

I already puke to the Cerberus since playing the first ME.
They are far worse than Batarian or any terrorist.
I don't care how 'good' TIM to Shepard in ME2 i just disgust him every minutes when having conversation with him.
Thanks for Rebuild My shepard, gave me the new Normandy and the 'apologist' type personnels. KTHX bye The Illusive Fakking Man

I won't lie that I didn't want to play as them in MP when they came out.
They probably net and then sell the other teammates once back in the extraction shuttle. 8D
But playing as them with their cool skills and melee with nothing really negative happening (dialogue, character motives, etc.) has put them in a positive light for me.

In terms of MP, I believe they're one of the best up-close characters in the game rivaling the Krogan and with the added Batarian vanguard, I love to play them frequently.

Now I can definately understand why James grouped them with the Krogan, and why the Reapers hit them first. If the Reapers hadn't taken out Khar 'Shan in a surprise attack, they would have been forced into a brutal, high-strain conflict with a well-trained, well-equipped, and extremely motivated fighting force. The Batarians are the best, and they damn-well know it.
They're up there with Krogan, Geth, and Turians as one of my favorite races.
And as an off-topic note: Quarians in the "attractive alien" slot? Really? You have a thing for masks?

The characters in MP are great yeah, not saying they aren't, but to me, they are boring.

Before ME3 I was mostly... curious about Batarians. They were pretty mysterious (and still are, compared to other races). I remember being confused when James brought them up while asking where the "meat" was for the summit.

You don't like the Quarian jiggly-bum bum?
If I didn't know that every quarian female had the same assets as Tali I'd probably list em lower.

It really seemed like Bioware down played them through the course of the series. I will admit that I did enjoy the Saren torture scene in the first book though.
Er....you did?Why?

They are portrayed as strong and our fervently proud about their culture, regardless of what others think. I respect that.
I don't exactly agree with the ideology they have, but I can respect that they are proud of it

Jiggly bum-bum is nice and all, but it's not nearly enough to look past the purple skin, glowing eyes, three fingers, and faceless suit. An alien is an alien, no matter how attractive individual parts of it might be.
