If you want to go for maximum creepy, finish it with "...when you reach 18, my sweet." Weirdest, most awkward, uncomfortable line I've ever heard in a video game. "My sweet." Ugh.

Grandpa: Well ...

Despite this game being terrible, it has brought me lots of golden comedy and fan art.

and i dont think it has any meaning at all other than to try and hype people about next game or DLC..
witch is ridicoulus concidering the pre release hype :E
anyways. that buzz guy. im sorry but it does not make the scene better or special at all
outside of US nobody really cares about him at all, or know who he is, also 1969 is a long time ago

Cute idea, but poorly done and out of place. Should've been scrapped.

Would've been better if it was just another one of Varric's tall tales.
LMAO. I can hear Cassandra saying "Yes, of course, the involvement of The Shepard makes perfect sense."

Creepy creepy creepy.
Oh how I wish this scene could be cut from the game. Any modders out there know how to do it?

This game has too many head scratchers. How many times can we say "poorly done and out of place", honestly? 6 or 7 at least?AdmiralCheez wrote...
It really is a horrible scene. Like, Buzz is a cool guy, and I'm glad the Vigil music got in SOMEWHERE, but still it's one of those things that adds nothing of value (and the sudden break in narrative framing makes it actually take things away).

I hate it when the kid calls our hero the shepard I loathe it
it's creepy why he calls the boy my sweet and all I can think is of Kaidan and shep in mass effect 1 and 3 making love and he told the little boy that
why the little kid did not ask what was up with that weird ending we all did
that dead child and star brat are like dawn from buffy the vampire slayer are just there and we have to deal with it no matter how bad they are
at least in buffy the did it at the start of the season and by the end they gave a much better reason for her being there then bioware did for mass effect 3s awful plot and ending

You guys realize who the old man is? It's Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon. Mass Effect is a space exploration game in a way, so they hired him to do that scene. For some that scene inspired some about our own space travel and some day we will be living outside the galaxy and such.
It's not Mass Effect related, but it does have to do with one of the underlying themes of this game (exploring planets and alien cultures).
hahaha! Oh how naive. This world will devour mankind before we attain any sort of permenant space travel.
The cycle cannot be broken. Prepare for the day of reckoning!

You take that back, right now! I expect to live long enough to see a manned Mars mission at least, and if I don't, I'll be mad. (posthumously mad, that is)Jade8aby88 wrote...
