And whatever happens to the stuff players make themselves? I heard you could make things yourself but I don't know how and I don't know where to find that?
And for Drachs, I didn't use steam to buy dragon age, i always buy it in shops, that way you can bring it back yourself if it doesn't work and get a new copy faster then waiting for people to read your mail you send and hope for a refund or a new version that might work.... or not work.... I Like to have life customer support and not online customer support, as you can see from this forum, neither bioware or EA seems to be saying anything about the DLC errors we're getting and leave us in the dark. At least when you have live customer support you can make a scene in the store so they'll have to help you so you don't scare the other customers away

Yeah same here, not a real issue since the new DLC won't be out until January 5th so hopefully it'll work by then.
Ooh! What new DLC came out on 5 Jan?

TOO RIGHT! We are paying customers! Because of the complicated and vague nature of this all, I bought the stone prisoner DLC even though I found out I was entitled to it anyway. Official support ranges from nonexistant to vague. I'm sick of the responsibility of patching up these wounded games falling to the community. The developers should aknowledge bugs in their game, and have ready, quick and accessable help to us paying clients. It deters me from paying for games, to be honest.rebel78 wrote...
This is seriously lame. I note Dragon Age Awakening is announced to be launched in March, yet Return to Ostagar is still not available despite being "out for the holidays", then "Jan 5th", now ..who knows? To add insult to injury I can't even play Wardens Keep in the interim cos they won't take my money. Good business practice that. Just let us buy bioware points, if you insist on doing it that way. Sell them from the Bioware store, or just sell us the game for real money and skip the points. I thought there was a recession, but apparently not as bioware dont want/need our money, and wont acknowledge/comment on their loyal customers genuine, reasonable complaints.

I'm assuming it's only a handful of people having this problem? Or else they would surely bother to fix it.
Really wanted to play the DLC.
Guess they don't want my money though.

Hm well if it's a free to call number would some upstanding American citizen do us all the favour and give them a ring?
I'm not really on that side of the planet myself.

Mind you if it was possible to email someone who feels remotely responsible that would like be the more successful way of doing.
Phoning them might just get you a random customer service guy in Mumbai.
