Me! Rogue is always my default... lockpicking.
Who here is going to be playing as a Rogue first time through?

Yes, I will be a rogue. Although, I won't be dagger wielding. It's all about archery.

Depends on animations - seriously - my play style is dependant on what my character looks like doing the things my character does.

Ever since I started playing Dragon Age, I've always started out as a Mage. But what I play as in this game depends on how the combat mechanics in the game are and how many abilities that class can do. I would really love to see the dual-wielding rogue return with the sword and dagger specialization. Just my opinion though.

I generally play rogue first, because I like lock picking/stealing and I never know when we'll snag a rogue companion for the party.

Traditionally there are two key abilities I look for in role playings games, lockpicking and persuasion.
Although I've felt lately those two elements have been under utilised - would love to see lockpicking have a great role in game.

Never been fond of the rogue class- given their mechanics, they seem expendable. Nevertheless, my Warden was a rogue for rp reasons(lawlasaurus rex).

Me. Only played one rogue before, a very late second Origins playthrough. I tend to favor setting people on fire

Yep. My canon Warden and Hawke are rogues so I'm going to carry on that theme. Will probably play as a Mage too eventually.
Didn't like Warrior in DA2 but if they brought back archery or dual wield for warriors I might be tempted back.

Depends a lot tbh. I might see how Rogue is. But it's either rogue or warrior.

Always rogue.
Also, OP, you misspelled "too." You're "too" tired to type, not "to" tired.
Sorry, I had to.
