This is what passes for 5-star 8-page MP discussion these days?! Jesus, if it's not threads crying about or for every little balance update, it's pure circlejerk threads like this (also the "troll" threads).

It's sad to say, since there's so much more potential for in depth build and tactic discussions with ME3's co-op mode, but official mass effect forums had higher quality strategy discussion before MP was ever introduced.

This.

anyone is always welcome to play with me. I just feel bad cause i have been playing with like 8-10 people regualry since be4 even joining team arelex that i still play with. a couple of them signed up but as far as TAX i mostly have played with snyper , slim, and gollum. not to much with anyone else for some reaosn. i've only gotten in a few with ashen, invader, and cain.

I have done "events" a couple times where i posted inviting anyone who wanted to play with me form BSN and got to play with about 10-12 peolpe during those events for a few games that i hadn't played with before. I think i've been more then welcoming to everyone best i can. but with a full friends list and BL2 and AC3 its hard sometimes. espically during peak hours

and 20 headhsots by wave 2 is insane. i've done wave 3 several times but never got it on wave 2. my closest was like igiht at the start of wave 3

and 1mil seems near impossible the closest i've been is probably this http://social.biowar.../index/13244113 but this was w/o milking objectives on U/U/P and also w/o rocketing spawns. to get 1 mil we'd probably have to use the +3 rocket cap and milk objectives while rocketing all the spawns that form during said objectives

I have seen it posted somewhere here of a score over 800,000 and they said they kited the objectives to get that high but ended up with a kill 4 objective which does not give as much time as the other three.

i just think it can be done and would love to see the video

And you know it :P

I know it? I disagree. Pretty sure I recall my GI Claymore taking you on and had you beat. Gollum and Ashen are probably the only ones I know (listed there) that could out GI me, but even then it would still be close between at least Gollum and I.

I'm just teasing! One day I will jump out of your backpack... one day.

But seriously, 50/50 against Nate. He is damn good.

Just people saying "wow, it'd be so cool if one of these guys thought I was, like, as cool as they are or something".

All three players are insanely skilled and regardless of whoever you "chose", you'd have a game consisting mainly of trying to find anything to kill, so the discussion is rather pointless.

Yup, another "BSN celeb"circle jerk session

There used to be a lot of that. Now people view those types of things at people being elitest and have since basically disappeared. There is no point in doing it as every thread done about either a good strategy, build, whatever turns into some type of stupid "debate"/

This thread is silly and you should feel silly.

Ot though, I really don't know who these people are, so they get pug-status from me.

That means they are welcome in my lobbies, but are subjected to boot-review post-match like any other.

If they do good, prefered player. If they stick around 3+ matches, possible FR.

If they faff around, da boot or split lobby!

That is all.

That is not meant to be rude and if Slayin wants to do that for you that is his choice. I just don't like your reasoning behind it, but I am still willing to play a normal game with you if you would like.

Was testing humor, since I wasn't sure about slayin's earlier response to me. I asked a question about this on your forum a while ago, and was informed about the easy credits problem, so that's my reasoning. I want to improve my times and learn a  bit more of the game, since my one and only speedrun was at least with someone with a name very similar to deafmedal1, and the time was 15:15 on glacier gold. Wasn't a true speedrun because we had a pug as fourth, but I found it to be quite fun and hope to improve the times as well. I won't pressure you if you're not interested, just wanted to clear my reasoning for you.

Of course! I am sure there are tons of PC players and possibly even a couple of PS3 players that could do better.

Threads like these always remind me of my former roommate who was a big time losser in life.

He played on Xbox and he always yelled over the mic that he was the king of the game. He was too loud and the whole house could hear it.

He was kicked out from the college because he did not go to school. He did not have a job and lived by his parents' money. His room smelt worse than dog ****, because he was in that room for 35 days.

I could not even remember the times his GRANDMA called to have me bang on the door to wake him up to go to the counsellings.

Always make me wonder, people who have so much time in their hands and act like kings in video game, what are they like in real life.

The really good players I've met all seem to have jobs, kids, etc like myself. They do not act like "Kings" this is not an MMO where people get to roleplay. Good post though it's kind of funny. I bet that type of guy you describe has zero time to post on a forum. Ironically, its people that have jobs that have time to post (cause we cant play the game) :crying:

Some players are nice and respectable to others and themselves.

B)Well, you know, that some people only write posts that can descirbe how awesome they are and how everyone else sucks balls. I feel disgusted everytime those names popped up in a thread. I bet they must roleplay them as the king of BSN.

Some do have the time to have a full manifest and the time to appear in every thread. That is called having too much time in their hands.

My manifest would be a disaster if not one of my friend was using it during the summer. :D

Slim gets his satisfaction with a job well done and a strategy well formulated. I've made a video on speed farming platinum you can watch on my you tube channel. But i'm here to teach about game mechanics not just cheap credits as well. i don't play as much as i used to do i pretty much only play a few gold games for fun here and there. If you really want to learn i'll help but its not about getting cheap credits. And i prefer to have at least 1 more with me like slim.

i've taght prioably about 20 people to speed run. geekfest was the 1st one who taught me but i really didn't get into it until the tournaments

Hey bud. Im sure you are probably just generalising but in all honesty this thread was not created by myself, Ashen or Caineghis. We all actually know each other and are very cool with each other.

In regards to acting like kings none of use named here from what I know have claimed any greatness. In matter of fact I have been outscored as much as I have outscored those who outscored me. I play for fun.

The assumption that people who are known to be good at this game have no lives makes no sense to me. All of those who know me directly know that I work from home and thus the reason it is easier for me to run a few matches here and there. They also know that I am a video game designer and am an investor in a few small companies and am a consultant for them on their growth strategies. So yes. I am a professional and a business man. I manage my time well and still get to travel the world and do all the crazy things that you probably only get to see on TV....

Soooo to make assumptions that people who are good at any game like this have no lives is ...well..immature at best. I have lived live and will continue living it hard and awesomely. I wake up every day with purpose and do very well at what I do. Another example is actually the guy at the top of the leaderboard. IAMxSHADRACH. So much speculation on the guy being a no life yet he owns his own business just like me.....  No chubby, loud mouth kids here buddy. In matter of fact the N7 SpecOps page that I am a member of is on facebook and has a link to my personal profile and that guy with the muscular arms who works out every day.....yes...thats me.

There is another assumption you should take besides the one you took. That is the one that there are people that are actually succesful and have the time and can make the time to enjoy something like a video game daily or every other day because....well...simply because they can. ;)

Seconded. It's funny how many people think just because you play video games you're a member of the absolute lowest tier of society.
