There isn't much left to discuss. Each week, we get good build ideas for new stuff, but some are just no brainers.

Haven't you been out of the game for a bit, though? Never see you on xbox live. Or maybe I have the wrong guy... you're Trip, right?

I can't say which one I would honestly take. Haven't played with INVADERONE yet and only played a couple rounds with caineghis. I do know how Ashen plays and I have seen him on a 4 person team, so he would have to be my choice for the moment.

Yeah I'm at school and my XBox didn't come with me. I might bring it back after winter break if I know I'll have a TV at my apartment.

To some extent, topics have always been overproduced since the beginning. But we no longer have things like GodlessPaladin's threads on gameplay that served as forum gathering places, or the nerf/buff war threads that peaked in the weeks after Earth, or new MP idea threads like the Terminus one or Killahead's threads, or Lynx7725's enemy behavior thread. I miss how Mendelevosa's "The N7 Shadow Licks Ass!" thread brought all the regular users of this forum out of the woodwork to post 9 pages of hilarity.

These are anecdotal, but it would be difficult to produce actual data points without reading through and documenting every thread over the last 100 pages, and I'm not going to do that. This is just my impressionistic feeling of what's happening here.

Part of the problem is a lot of people have left the game, either temporarily or permanently, and maybe the newer people who've replaced them aren't Mass Effect fans in the same way they were, or maybe I feel uneasy because those older people had always been there when I was here and now I'm part of the older crop of players and I don't know who the new posters are.

There's also the thing how, we can talk about each other in more discreet and tasteful ways without making a thread blatantly comparing three players and their relative skill and worth, which smacks of mutual masturbation.

I guess if I HAD to choose... it'd be INVADERONE, just cuz I've played with him more then Caineghis2500, not that Caineghis isn't cool or anything, cuz he is. And I've never played with ASHEN EARTH, I think recognize the name from in here and I play with someone else occasionally that plays with ASHEN and they say he's cool but I have no opinion myself since, like I said, I haven't played with him.
