+1

Because we actually know how to aim without a game holding our hand and aiming for us.

Off course there are more players on xbox. Just like there were more slaves than pharaoes in ancient egypt.

If Xbox players are egyptian slaves under PC Pharaohs, then which Xbox player is Charlton Heston?

Less prepubescent players. That's basically it.

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter - it is simply a lifestyle choice.

Although having said that, I see more console players who cannot seem to string a sentence together.

The answer lies in the premises: quality over quantity, and special bugs to force us into staying elite.

I play both console and PC. Therefore I'm superior to everyone here. Bow down to your GOD!

They say they are joking, but I'm sure there's quite a few that think that way. There are jerkbags on PC, 360 and PS3.

PC gamer seems to always have this need to tell them selves they are superior some how.

Console gamers are too busy playing and gaming to care.

Eh, most gaming rigs require upgrades in about that life span too. PC requires more money and/or technical skill but generally offers a lot more options like AlientSpaceBats suggested. To be perfectly honest the only reason I don't have ME3 for PC is because of Origin. I dislike Steam so an EA brand version of that is not touching my computer with a 10 foot pole.

Well, they are better... see the console controls are so bad the Bioware needed to change the AI to be slower, less aggressive etc etc.

I like the xbox controller........and playing it on PC still felt the same.

Or, to look at it from another angle, they have a fair bit of longevity, because they stay up to date for five.

PC has a gradual curve that requires constant tweaking and maintenance to keep up with technology. Your drivers aren't going to last five years. My laptop hasn't stayed up-to-date for two. I bought it in 2008, by 2010 I was being told my operating system couldn't handle new software upgrades. A PC gamer has to tailor-make a console for their games. An Xbox gamer receives them tailor-made for their console. We have to buy new hardware every five years... but, you know? I still play my Playstation 2. A console doesn't die the second a new one comes out. I think they're pretty sound investments, all told - but I do get where you're coming from. You've got more control over a PC. Modding must be great fun. That's practically an entire subculture in itself, turns a Fallout game from a narrative into a canvas.

I don't think there's such thing as a best format... but the five year thing is as much a strength as a weakness. Plus, if you sit a year or so behind the curve, you can treat yourself to a bunch of discounts. My 360's not going anywhere, and I'm still going to love Mass Effects 1, 2 and 3 to bits when the Xbox 923600 comes out. Likewise, November the twenty-whateverth means nothing for my Wii. I'll still be playing it, still be loving it, same neat console.

I will have to get the new Xbox when ME4 comes out, mind. q:

To console players: there's a realm of existence so far beyond your own. You cannot even imagine it. PC players are beyond your comprehension. What you console players choose to call us is simply irrelevant. We simply are. The pinnacle of gaming. Before us you are nothing. Your casual gaming noob attitude is inevitable.

Because PC from a tech standpoint is superior? I don't really care, my PC can run ME3 smoothly but I prefer the console, just all preference. People who rage over consoles are a sad bunch.

You struggle in vain, trusting in numbers of players to stop our advance, like every generation of consoles before, you can resist, but you will understand at full step our superiority.
