Sorry, I don't want to rock your world .... but I have an x-box controller connected to my PC.  

This is so that I can also lie on the couch and play (or more accurately .... play racing games while on my exercise bike.)  

But trust me ... when playing a FPS and given a choice between using my controller versus using my cool ergonomic razer mouse with multiple thumb buttons and keyboard with all the options ... there's only really 1 choice.

Touchy, aren't we? The discussion was never about eugenics but about the long-standing "war" between PC and console gamers.

It doesn't make jcamdenlane any less right... if I was a mod I would lock/delete any type of divisive comments between Platforms. There is literally, nothing positive that can come from it.

Because a mouse and keyboard is almost always a better method of control. The only game I have that plays better on console is FIFA.

But PC players can be real douches, you will know this if you have played counter-strike 1.6-GO.

I can play quiiiite a wide range of rpg's, shooters, rts's and what not on my pc anyway. If I were to buy a console it would be for a different experience. Like the wii instead.

I'm curious, has anyone on here ever switched platforms? From what I've read so far on BSN consol doesn't sound appealing to me, but I'm interested in hearing opinions from people who have played both.

My personal experience with computers, and I've had three of them, is a huge 'gamble.' You spend a lot of time and a ****-load of money on them, and they conk out if you can't afford to replace parts every few years. If you wanna keep playing the biggest and baddest games as they are released you gotta upgrade those parts. Consoles are obviously less spectacular in what they can do, but I find them muhc more worth the money, and I see modding communities on PC as a blight. Modders inadvertently take weight off the shoulders off of developers, which might sound nice, but it makes them less quick to work on patches and possibly new content because people can just fix the problems themselves. New Vegas is still riddled with game-breaking bugs even after two years, from what I've seen on both my 360 and my friend Tezztor's expensive-ass computer. I blame modders and their unofficial patches.

There are some pretty nice wired keyboards and mice as well that you can use with a PC.  Doesn't have to be plugged in.  On the topic .... you can also plug your PC into your 60" LCD TV.  (Man, this is starting to sound like an iPhone vs Android thread )
