Bioware always tell about companions before a game was released. I am curious who is the most intresting person for you? Who should be shown first?

The sentence structure threw me, but 'whom' is correct in the title. This makes me happy.

I pick... That gal who seems to be painting. Between Cassandra and Cullen.

The painter seems most unusual. Also I'm pretty sure that painteress isn't the "female" version of the word painter, as the original word is gender neutral.

I like the elven girl! From what I read, she seems really cool. I hope she's in the game.

It's actually paintress and it's an archaic but legitimate word.

As for the original word, it comes to us from French, so it was likely a masculine noun when it entered the language that later became gender neutral.

I hope that the "paintress" is not a typical companion, but instead serves in more of the role of Seneschal Varel. Since we get a castle and all...

I'm curious about the first one (maybe he's the magister in the leak?). I think the templar and the seeker are Cullen and Cassandra, and the GW might be Stroud.

I think the paintress is a castle NPC as opposed to a party companion.  I suppose I most want to find out about the elf--how she'll be different from the elves so far.  Also, I'd like to find out if that Warden is in fact Stroud.  If so, he could provide some details on what those Wardens were up to in DA2.

Accroding to the leak, she's a City Elf who acts as a Robin Hood character, except she forgets the part of giving it to the poor and just keeps it for herself. She's also meant to be a bit Isabela-y without the promiscuity and the wooden leg and parrots, from what I understand.

Oh Mozilla, why do you no zoom. I'm thinking the "Spear Man", is actually wielding a staff, but it's hard to tell. So clearing that up gets my vote.

Merrill seems to think so, thanks to Varric's stories. Image IPB

I know that, but Merrill is the only one who'll believe Varric's stories :P. Isabela doesn't have a wooden leg (my Warden and my Hawke could testify on that:whistle:)
Merrill actually reminds me a manga character in her naivety.

I hope he's an Arcane Warrior, or something similar.

It could be vastly changed from DAO's AW. Mages were too powerful in DAO, and they nerfed them in DA2 (maybe too much). They could do the same in some way with AW.

Since we've already had a Warden and Templar'ish (Alister, and lets face it Sebastian was two baby steps away from being one) companions, I'll go for spear man - or whatever that is, Arcane Warrior sounds good.
Although from what I've read on this thread the elven girl sounds interesting.

What about the two other characters images?  You know the one wearing full black clothes.

I think they're concept arts for a male and female mage Inquisitor.
