[Snovicus]

 Trying to get a sense of everyone's feelings on the endings, I feel that breaking it down to a solitary score might be a simple and comprehensive way to do that.

So how would you score the ending, and the Extended Cut out of ten, in terms of their quality as an ending to the series?

(Also, if you've played it, how would you describe Leviathan as adding to the quality of the ending?)

Pre-EC ending: 2/10 (the whole fleet arriving to Earth was awesome, and the farewells were heartbreaking in a good way, but other than that, it made me sick.)
EC ending: 6/10. It's meh. Mediocre, average. Not the ending ME deserved. Plus tons of nonsensical stuff remain, essentially thanks to the Catalyst.

This +1 The game could have been better. After importing save games etc. you would assume that with 100+ hours of gameplay you would get something more that A,B,C, D ending.

post-EC ending 2.5/10 yay more info, but the stupid logic and lack of effects from previous decisions is still there

This, though I consider the ending starts when we meet the Catalyst. Everything else is bearable for me.

the fleets arriving was ridiculous as all i remember was the conversation on the citadel in ME2 about speed of objects in space, and how the fleet literally did more damage to Earth than the reapers did.

post EC, still 0/10

as the EC did not fix any of the problems is had with the original.


but theres an upside, Halo 4 just came out

Dude, I've been away in very distant lands. Cut me some slack.

And besides, everyone is familiar with the initial reaction to the endings. I'm now trying to gain understanding of the long-term consensus.
