As for as I'm concerned we never got a real ending, just a false vulgar lie. That 'ending' doesn't deserve a rating. It's not an ending, it's an insult.

Oh, I have no intent to. I may disagree with your opinion on the ending, but I'll respect it nonetheless. After all, the whole point of the thread was to hear everyone's take on the quality of the ending. I was just making sure you weren't being sarcastic, which seemed a likely possibility given the general attitude on this topic.

Pre-EC: 1/10. A horrible mess, which only deserves one reply.

Post-EC: 3/10. Still a horrible mess, but a bit less infuriating. Still destroys the entire franchise and should have resulted in the firing of Hudson and Walters.

Having to choose how the game will end in the final minute of the game instead of it being decided during the game(s) by your actions is lazy. Don't really matter how many flashy cut-scenes you attach to it.
