Original 2/ 10. Left me feeling drained and so disapointed.

Post EC 6/ 10. So not as great as I think the game could have been but they did enough to leave me pretty satisfied and its ambiguous enough that I can imagine the post ending that I want to, and that someone else can imagine something different.

Why Lev isn't taken into account? Ending after Lev (not per se, but with information from the dialogue with Levs) is much clearer and more logical than after the EC, so original 3, EC 7, Lev 8.

As much as I appreciate the work that went into the MEHEM, I wasn't looking for a happy ending to Sheaprds journey.  I wanted and ending that left me satisfied, and ready to play it again, just so I can experience it again.  I wanted an ending that left me happily thinking back on the wonderful journey, and all the great moments that led to that wondeful culmination that I would never forget.

Of course, that was me being naive.  Few games ever achieve this.  ME3 had some potential to achieve this, but instead they went in the opposite direction, tainting a, for the most part, very good journey with a mediocre ending.  What made it worse was how it completely destroyed suspension of disbelief in those last moments, leaving me (and many players it would seem) cold and wondering what the hell had just happened.  The MEHEM would have worked fine as a canon ending, but for me, it doesn't push it beyond average.  A good ending needs more than just victory and a runion.

I didn't take Leviathan into account within my original post because I didn't buy it, nor will I buy any future BioWare products. However, I will edit the question to include this now.

pre EC: 3/10 what can I say I appreciated the nihilism of blowing up the mass relays ending all advanced life in the galaxy...maybe. It to me fit the relentless grinding futility of the rest of the game.

post EC: 3/10 I found it equally awful just for different reasons - march of the retcons, the brain breaking illogical required to "explain" what Bioware wanted to happen, the rainbows and ponies synthesis ending, the **** you of the refuse ending etc...

Declined to buy Leviathan but having youtubed it from what I can tell knowing why Casper does what it does and the idiocy and arrogance of its creators' just makes having to accept its madness worse
