It would say promotional.

Why would Bioware give out a random ultra rare instead of an N7 Comm weapon for "N7 Day"?

Because they are happy with N7 Day, I guess.

Seriously, if you have all URs unlocked, you're not screwed, you're well ahead of everyone else. You'll get nothing only because you NEED nothing. The only thing the game could possibly grant you is consumables.

So what you're saying is the population with maxed out gear should just sit this celebration out.  People who have been playing non-stop since release. 

"You played too much, you need to stop" is effectively what you are saying.

My manifest is maxed, too, and I, along with the people I play with, would hardly consider myself "screwed."

Hey, you never know.  Maybe we'll get the Bloodpack SMG or something.  We don't know whether or not they'll be adding more weapons.

It's possible but highly unlikely. If any weapon is released tomorrow it's the last release-promotional weapon, the Chackram Launcher.  It's Extremely unlikely because it is the -last- weapon they have to release without dipping into the SP weapons, which I can safely say will be an utter nightmare to balance.  Especially the venom which is a 1 shot murderfest weapon.

One UR weapon may be saving each player hours, days, even weeks of time spent on the game.
