I have been playing this game since release. my friend CorpusDei has as well. Obviously this means we are not as important as others... right?

You're not representative of every person "playing this game since release".

I've been playing since release. I have only one UR at X.

Seriously I have been playing from almost the start and my highest UR is a IV and I'm missing most of the ones that are not from DLC, I'm just happy to have a harrier I. This game hates giving me URs and you guys are compaining on having ALL UR MAXED...seriously stfu..

How are you punished exactly? By not getting something you already own? Some punishment.

Personally, I believe they should release something no one yet has or can get, some UR that's new.  And maybe they will.

The article says "ultra-rare" but that doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be a regular UR and not a promo weapon. I'd be happy either way, but promo would probably cut down on the kvetching from the people that have apparently managed to put in enough time and been lucky enough to pull 120 UR weapon cards.

I agree, those lucky enough to have maxed weapon manifests should get a promo weapon.
The problem:... everyone will be whining they want a promo weapon insteadof an UR!!!
