I remember the first thread on this. Someone suggested "Lead Zealot" or "Lead Priest" (Spray and Pray). I wish I remember who it was so I could give them proper credit.

On a serious note, doing a quick and dirty history lookup on SMGs I'd have to go with "Hitman" or something like "Enforcer" due to it's popularity with gangsters. (Credit to SaintTweeter for his mentioning of Hitman and Enforcer first.)
