Good thing my Turtle Beach Headsets lets me mute chatter. I would rather listen to the game so I know what is going on. Also, Linkin Park is so very far from hardcore, even the first album. Ever heard of Hatebreed, Killswitch Engage or Scar Symmetry? That's the heavy stuff( at least IMO).
