When people start playing any "less favorable" music, and people start having fits, I actually laugh my ass off.TheKillerAngel wrote...
I should play some extremely loud Hilary Duff the next time I sign on.
It's right to tell someone to stop playing music over the mic, but freaking out about the specific music just makes you sound like a tool. I do sometimes accidentally play country music too loud, and when people ask me to turn it down I do. Unless they start insulting the music, then I just turn it up. I don't care If you don't like, but don't try and tell me your opinion is better than mine.
Saying "Please turn your music down" or "I don't want to hear that" is fine
Saying "Your music sucks!" or "Why are you listening to that ****?" or "You should listen to AC DC you redneck!" isn't okay.

Why is there such a stigma against people who play music with their mic is on? its not as if its LOUD... usually its just a faint noise, nothing worth worrying about.
But some people get so mental lol.
Because not everyone wants to hear your incessant music over low quality sound mic for 25 - 30 minutes or more in multiple matches. It doesn't matter if it's crappy music or not. Blasting your tunes and assuming that everyone else wants to hear them is incredibly selfish and narcissistic.

BARF!
I'd mute the crap out of you, then kick-vote you for making me endure 10 seconds of that "music".

Oh my gosh I laughed. Had to deal with a match where about halfway through somebody started playing Bieber. You should have heard the screaming. I thought the poor guy was going to have his head ripped off.Coalmine wrote...
...But hearing it though your 20$ microphone configured to autodetect ambient noise, popping in and out over the course of 20 minutes just sounds like F***ING NAILS SCRATCHING THE INSIDE OF MY HEAD!!! TURN IT OFF!!! TURN THAT F***I NG THING OFF!!!
...
But in all honesty, I sincerely hope you're trolling. If not, then please remember not everyone likes exactly your type of music. And not everyone speaks English, so to them your music is a bunch of incomprehensible screaming.

And not everybody necessarily appreciates the same music (as sad as that sometimes can be).

You funny, kid. Also, that'd better be early Manson or I'd kick you as soon as you hit the lobby.
