The Wii U ME3 MP community will probably be incredibly small. Probably barely a small fraction of the PS3 community.

Why would that be common knowledge you'd expect me to know?  Good question I know... and for those who have never played an online game on a Nintendo device before, the community is extremely small and restrictive.  In my opinion the game on the Wii U will not be worth the money for non-soloists when compared to the 360, PC and heck even the PS3 versions because the community will not be active enough for longevity in Multiplayer.  Although I will admit the game pad looks cool when showing an overhead map and quick casting powers in SP.

It will be only COD or ME as far as MP.  If BW and EA really wanted to, they could make ME3  the standard MP system on that console.  IMHO, they should let players  keep their manifests over several platforms just to let the system take off.

I kind of like the idea of better grfx (than on 360 and PS3) and the screeny controller is actually very handy from my demonstration session with it. Issuing commands, powers etc. Don't know if I'll MP this on WiiU, but I'd like to buy it to finish SP, since I've been too busy playing MP on 360 to do it.

Very tempted.

I have never played with a Wii. How can a game like mass effect be played on that thing?

Still, if any mp players come over here, I'm sure we will all behave like rational, respectful people and give them a warm welcome. Totally sure.

Considering the Wii U's launch lineup is pretty weak on its own, at least it's something. Though yeah, kind of ridiculous.

Who the hell is actually getting a Wii U? I seriously have no idea what they're selling it as at this point.

Nintendo is releaseing another console called the WII-U.
The name sounds like that one R Kelly song...

The console controller will be more traditional with a screen inside it making it so you can play with your TV and the small screen in the controller.

It's been a few months since there was that much news on it.

currently all preorders are sold out.  so, a lot of people are getting one, including myself.  not getting ME3 on it though unless they transfer my manifest.  i've come way too far to start over.

launch day i'm getting ZombiU, Mario and AC3
