Isabela in this game without Hawke would be bad.

I gave her to the Arishok, and given what Varric says afterwards, I want her to return so I can kill her or give her back to the Qunari.

Yes, please! The Qunari invasion, triggered by Isabela's selfishness, had innocent citizens of Kirkwall dead or captured. I so hope she does return in DA3, that way my PC may stab her with the murder knife, whispering in her ear, "Hawke told me about you".

As badly as I'm awaiting the eventual Qunari invason they keep talking about, I'd rather they not try and squish it in a game already about one war.

You know what will be truely awesome? Hawke back as a full party member instead of a 2 minutes cameo in the world somewhere.

So what? Is there a problem with liking sex?

Absolutely nothing- people needed to lighten up, and get...well, you know Image IPB.

Loves that Isabella- deliciously fun, while entirely pragmatic. A very rare breed.

I wonder what that cameo would be like Image IPB....

Hawke:  Hey, I am that person that screwed the mage-terrorist from Kirkwall. You don't know what I am talking anout- you know, the guy that blew the chantry?

Player: Image IPB

Hawke: See, you know what I am talking about, silly goose Image IPB. Well, bye.

Player: Image IPB

Isabella will survive without you. She doesn't need Hawke following her everywhere she goes.

I think Mike Laidlaw said on a tweet that we will not be able to be with Isabella In DA3,and I agree that Isabella without hawke isn't Isabella.Hawke has influenced Isabella in a wonderful way.Isabella is really so much more than a **** that some of the fanbase think she is.

She is a **** actually, but she's our **** and we love her like that. Still though, Hawke should check himself after having fun with her.

If you romance her and read Those Who speak you will find out that her behavior is just a mask, becouse she can't bare how cruel the world is,she wasn't like this before you know, but still i like the perverted side of her XD,don't we all?

Why can't she appear, saying something like, "My friend/lover/former ally Hawke has gone missing."?

I don't know..

I've gotten the notion that they've broken up Leliana and the Warden after Dragon Age: Origins, because they wanted to keep using her character. The Warden was basically written off with the whole disappearing act and seems unlikely that they'll return. Her dialogue in Dragon age 2 and her set in stone appearance in the third game seems to support this. Sucks since she was the only romance I actually enjoyed in Origins.
I prefer they avoid doing that with any future romances...

Isabella? Didn't she drown in the middle of the ocean trying to escape from a Qunari ship? Why would she appear in Dragon Age 3 at all?

Perhaps I'm misremembering, but the sense I got was that she grabbed the Qunari artifact because the guy whose slaves she'd freed (remember that?) gave her an ultimatum of "get me that Qunari artifact or else".  So if someone who frees slaves is selfish because she wants to continue living, then so be it.

But I personally tend to cut someone a bit of slack in a situation like that.

Yes it was her altruistic preferences that got her into trouble and in over her head.

As far as it goes, according to Those Who Speak, she

*SPOILERS*

ordered the drowning of the slaves she was transporting at one point, to make better time ahead of an Orlesian naval fleet.  Though she did not personally kill them and felt very badly about it, and released the later shipful of slaves immediately preceding DA2 it seems, to me, like a part of her past to consider as well.

I may be mistaken on this as well but IIRC, without Hawke's intervention she also plans in Act 3 to let Castillon continue his slaving if he leaves her alone.

*END SPOILERS*

What PorcelynDoll said. Isabela's nothing more than your stereotypical shagsl*t walking around showing off her boobs and 'snacking' on sex whenever she can. It's even implied in the game there's a STD called after her. The hell, Bioware?

What's not to love? She is my favored companion accross all of the Dragon Age parts (even though Anders is probably best written). She is great in that she isn't afraid to talk about things, not like some characters that shy away like they would be risen in cloister, or that you can have foursome with her - that's the best thing. That thing alone should give you more Xp then killing a dragon.

Who is this shy character you speak of? Because all the DA companions seem to be extremely outspoken.

. If Hawke and Isabela both get a separate cameo, they should reference each other if they were in a romance. Don't really see how them being separate automatically means or implies that they've broken up.

I would rather 'Bella not be in this game. Just think she is a bad hook for Bioware.

I don't mind if Isabela shows up without a romanced Hawke as long as there is a good reason and she says she's still with Hawke.

Leliana is still with the Warden in act 3 btw at least by my standards since she says the warden, " IS very dear to me"

Not "was"...
