It follows Biowares own canon so they don't mention a romance becuse players could have romanced someone else in their game. I'm only confused if they did romance Isabela and she left with Hawke then why isn't she with him/her

I was trying to figure out the timeline of that comic. In the intro he says he's ruled for "nearly" ten years. In another panel he talks about how Maric disappeared 13 years ago, which suggests Alistair has been on the throne 7-8 years. So if thats true, then this comic must take place right before the end of Act III of DA2? Maybe shortly after Hawke meets the King in Act III.
I don't think the Warden has wandered off yet then. So I've decided to write a fic about that.
