They were in there cage on the table, we went to church, by dog (being a 95 pound hungry monster) grabbed the cage off the table, bent the bars enough to grab the one to eat it, then he gave the other one a heart attack and couldn't reach it. I was about 8 years old. Imagine being 8 years old coming home to a cage with a dead hamster and a missing one.

Its really sad what sadistic little teenage boys come up with. I knew a little boy in like elementary school who used to buy ginnie(sp?) pigs just to torture them...



Probably means you have no idea *how* he lost the eye then?? Maybe its better not knowing I guess. But its wonderful that he doesn't absolutely despise humans after what he's been through..

He was the sweetest, most gentle soul I have ever met )
He only lived 12 months because of complications from his damaged body, but he loved a lifetimes worth while he was able.
