Yes, we are really listening.

Now, and I know this sounds a little harsh, but there is a difference between "listening" and "obeying". We do listen to fans and take their feedback into consideration when we make games, DLC, balance changes, etc. However, that does not mean we are going to blindly obey what is requested by some people.

Not everyone agrees on what should or should not be in the game. And not everythign that people ask for is possible to be implemented based on the way the code of the game is structured. And not everything is possible for story and design reasons that I can't say.

I know that not all choices made by the team are in line with what all fans want (incoming "you can say that again Priestly" in 3..2...1...), but Omega IS very strong and I think you'll enjoy it if you give it a chance.

the same was said about the latest published COJ and too human

Ball is in your court Chris

no I am just saying that believing their shtick their is pure idiocy at this point

Only if you do not want to be taken seriously, I let the steam blow off sure, but only if I feel Bioware is insulting my intelligence

Which lately happens kinda often

chris said Leviathan was the best selling dlc to date.

Because Leviathan is more than just another shooter.
It only shows that ME community want a good and interesting story, not just running with a gun.

Chris - do we really expect so much ?
Apparently, you create those DLC's for us - so listen what we ask for...

Ps. I'll give chance to Omega - i just hope that it will not be 4 hours on mindless shooting and 30 minutes of story.

Chris Priestly,

BW may be listening, but are you caring?

I know I'm going to sound entitled here, and I admit I put a lot of emotion into writing this as well. Looking back I kind of sound entitled. But just bear with me.

I ask this legitimately. Why weren't decisions and characters better implemented into ME3? 'They might be dead' doesn't cut it. You should have made the game to tailor to those decisions and make them have meaning beyond a numbered war asset. That way, ME could truly be called a game that is tailored to the individual.

I'm not complaining that BW did things I didn't like (there were a lot though).

I'm complaining that BW didn't do enough for the game. EVERYTHING should have been included. It should have been the culmination of everything. Did Conrad Verner live or die. If he lived and you got his dissertation, I want to see a cutscene showing how that dissertation improved the Crucible or something. I want to see my efforts being rewarded, not being told by some number. I want the War Assets to matter in the final battle. I want to see the Volus dreadnought fight a destroyer and stop it from blowing up a carrier.

That is my disappointment. I had the same issue with Leviathan. I want to see the Levi's using their skills to get a husk army on my side on London. It all needs to come down to affecting how it works.

The biggest failure for ME3 is that instead of being shown anything, we were told everything. We as players weren't adequately rewarded for our efforts. And it goes into seeing as how the player agency didn't matter. It simply felt that whatever I did wasn't worth it so long as one way or another my war asset number went past 3100.

Thank you for your time if you decided to look at this post.

Agree.
Our effort has been omitted.
War Assets DLC strongly recommended.
I would really like to see how for example Batarian ships take revenge for destruction of Bahak system; or what happened to Conrad Verner...
You still have time BW.

And it's obvious Bioware is listening, adding a female Turian and making her more than just a male in the cape is a great way to express that.

So anyone saying that Bio doesn't care at all is either blind or arrogant.

How do you know that the female Turian wasn't done so they could add it to multiplay and milk more money out of it?

Are you saying sharing assets between MP and SP is wrong in some way?

No, just that the inclusion of a female Turian in the DLC is in no way indicative of Bioware listening to anybody.

It was only a matter of time untill they started to exhaust the options for their multiplayer cash cow.

$15 for a 4 hour DLC.

Wow Bioware, way to go all out with your "biggest dlc ever". This should be an easy pass for anyone.

You left out a few other things..

Kasumi DLC cost $7 bucks and we keep her as a squadmate.
Omega DLC cost $15 bucks and we KEEP NOTHING.
We cant even go back to Omega after we are done!

Major ripoff.

Agreed.I bought Leviathan because I thought we get somethning that is able to not only able one shot a Reaper as we saw, but also control Repear forces. And did that change anything at all stroy wise? No..It did not.So yes, Bioware Why should I buy Omega? What do I gain from it?

Priestly's point is that you're not even giving it the benefit of the doubt. Omega isn't even out yet and people are saying its completely worthless. Well, such people cannot be pleased. Oh well.

From what little I've seen so far, that price tag does seem high.  My guess is that this is their big dlc of ME3.  It's coming out about 8 months after the release of the game, which I think was about the same span of time between ME2's release and the Shadow Broker dlc.

It doesn't seem to be generating near the enthusiasm  that SB had, here or anywhere else that I've come across.

Nope, never enough Cerberus bashing. As far as I'm concerned. more Mass Effect with Shepard is good Mass Effect. If you don't like it, don't buy it. And although the odds of him seeing this are rather slim, all things considered, well said Priestly.

Which in the end will still make no difference.

I'm sorry, I know that this has been discussed ad nausum but the point still stands.

I can not stomach playing a new DLC, filled with interesting characters and locations, a DLC that allows us to recruit war changing Reaper Killers (Leviathian) or allow us to assist allies devot their full efforts to the war in the form of a whole fleet and strategic locations (Omega); only for us to get to the end and still have the Catalyst say:

"None of that matters. Now pick R, B, or G."

Several hours of quality DLC doesn't change the fact that at the end of the line we still have the ending do look forward to.
