It's sort of confirmed through eurogamer that Omega will be a main hub. The way they worded it makes me unsure if you can revisit it while playing the main game.

You could visit bryson's office during the leviathan questline.

Omgea will be the same no doubt.

It does state in the article above that you will NOT be able to revisit Omega once the content is complete.....it is NOT a HUB that can be revisited.

"Best DLC"? I have seen nothing that could beat LotSB in any way thus far.

they were also saying that by far is ME3 best place where to start with ME...

Seriously? Did I understand that correctly?

I actually started with ME3 demo version before I bought all 3 games full, and I was totally lost in the beginning. Anderson keeps refering to past events in the very first conversation while I do not even know who he is other than his name. I met Ashley who appearently knows me (Shepard) but I don't know how. I don't even know who I am other than I appearently know what a reaper is which is explained in like half of a sentence. I see this boy who seems to be important while he actually isn't. And then all this talk about things like relays I never heard of...

With no squadmate interaction what so ever, I'm starting to think Omega will be a one way trip. I don't think you can play it in chunks like you can with Leviathan.

Hmm, I heard that phrase "We listening", but it looks I had to somehow miss their promise "We will fullfill every wish and use every suggestion from BSN", because some people are still acting like such statement exists.

The problem is this DLC was planed right from the start so Bioware knew a long time ago if new squad members are going to be introduced, they knew about new LI's,new enemies etc........so why not just come out and lay it all on the table and come clean.......it destroy's all speculation and misguided hope for fan content.

I keep hearing "Bioware is listening" but like the OP points out.....I just don't see it to be the case.....the impression I get is DLC development is pretty much cast in stone.......the whole creative process seems to be on auto pilot.

Look no one can expect to get everything they want.

But with the way Omega is turning out...it seems like hardly any of the DLC suggestions made it through to Bioware.

-No perma-squadmates (understandable but it was still requested)
-No Collectors/Harbinger (huge demand that came up when they were introduced to MP)
-From the looks of it, no main hub that you can revisit (what's the point of even retaking it now??)
-No new romance or ME2 squadmate content
-No ME3 squadmate dialogue. It'll be like the Arrival DLC all over again.

AND to top it all off they want $15 for it. If you're going to increase the price then ofcourse the expectations are going to be significantly higher. With the way it's shaping up it I wouldn't even be buying it if it was only 10 dollars.

Wasn't Omega pretty much finished by that point?

The funny thing is that this is not all, they increased the expectations further with their statements about how good Omega is.

I'm not saying that it is not good yet, not until it is out and I read anough about it. But I don't like what we have seen by now.

Maybe so but there was hope that the Retaliation DLC and Omega DLC were both being developed with each other in mind.

Agreed, especially the hub part and no other squaddie involvement.

Honestly, some people really think this. Just use search with phrase "BW listening" and you would be maybe suprised.

But lets return to your points. Yes, these are popular demands, but some of them are little unrealistic. For example new hub world - such world wouldn't be only some DLC. Quality hub world need his own dialogs, NPCs, quests and connection to rest of game - this would definitely need Expanson like DA: Awakening, not only DLC.

And people also forgot about one simple fact - Omega and Leviathan were planned from the beginning, which logicaly means there would be only minor changes based on fans wishes. If BW ever do one of this suggested DLCs from BSN, it would be after Omega and others planned ones.

OMEGA DLC - Biggest /?/ and most expensive ME DLC ever.

- Only temp squad mates
- No HUB
- No impact to ending

What are You listening to ?...

Choices from previous games had an impact on the overall story from the time you started the game on Earth (Vancouver) until the beam sequence in London. It's very obvious your previous choices did matter in some way.

If people didn't notice that, their judgement is a bit off.

Just look at the first mission.

"We have to get to the citadel. Talk to the council."
"You are a council spectre. That has to count for something."

Questions on only these two lines.

What is the citadel?
What council? Who is that?
What the hell is a "spectre"?
And what in f**ks sake should being one count for?

No, I would never advise anyone to start with ME3 or this person will think Mass Effect is a linear third person shooter with some RPG elements which has a confusing story full of plot holes, especially at the ending. And the characters, the greatest  strength of Mass Effect IMO, are weakest in ME3 of all 3 parts. The ME2 squad (which was by far my favourite cast although Liara, my favourite character, wasn't in there) is ruined almost completely as we know, and it is hard to like the ME1 squaddies and others who you should have met before when they are all like "Shepard! Good to see you again bud!" while new players only think "I have NO idea who you are." And what's left of characters is... Vega. Yay.

If I ever meet anyone who does not know Mass Effect yet and wants to play it, I will advise that person to play ME1, then ME2 and then ME3 with MEHEM. I think I would spare that person a lot of confusion and pain.

Well, I guess it looks like I'll be waiting to read some reviews before I commit to purchasing this DLC.

I guess 6-8 out of 10 range from reviewers. More Mass Effect, new enemy, nothing really fresh, price a little high.

Yup, if they increase the price by 50% they should add more than...what...45 minutes of gameplay more than in Leviathan?
They're just checking how much people are willing to pay. It's mean.

And indocrinated fans will pay.

I am not certain yet, it may be good or not. It depends on many things for me, for example how the Aria character turns out. She has a lot of potential, but if she sticks to the "pirate queen" role for the whole DLC I'm not interested in her any longer.
