Does seem a bit steep price wise for DLC that that you play mid game for a couple of hours then forget about for the rest of the game....

What are You listening to ?...

I think the first point is actually positive.  Assuming the same amount of content was delivered, not having to write dialogue for the rest of the game for every companion combination means that the amount of new content in the actual mission part of the dlc will be several times larger.

Hub? meh, I liked the Shadow Broker hub area, but only for the dossiers, which only needed to be delivered once. I didn't like "having" to go back there just to pick up the maximum upgrades. Non-issue for me.

No impact for the ending - I guess I wouldn't mind something here, it's not a show stopper though. The real thing I will judge it on is the writing and the gameplay. Have to actually play it before making a judgment.

If the DLC takes about 4-5 hours complete, the price is right.  At release, the original ME3 cost $60 and is atleast 20 hours of gameplay for most players.

I have to reserve judgement, but I'm not gonna lie...knowing they aren't permanent additions to the team makes me wary of buying a $15 DLC. Shadow Broker was stunning, and I love Aria's character, but...so far the paid DLC have largely been a let down for me and the price keeps going up. Not sure what I'll end up doing now. :-(

Maybe - I just think the price is just bordering of full expansion...

Or even for that kind of money you can get a damn fine indie game (or possibly two).

Depends on what's happening during that 5 hours.
5 hours of mindless cerberus bashing -> no thanks.
Two forced temporary squadmates also decrease the replay value of the DLC in contrast to the main game.

Just wrote FEMALE TURIAN in Search and you know what? I got many months old thread asking for female turians.

So BSN obviously has different opinion then your "we".

Maybe they are listening, but the things you say and think is amazing, actually is a lot of garbage. You ever thought of this possibility?

- I'm more than satisfied just by having a mission with aria and a turian female as squad. It's more than I expected.

- I never expected that, and we should see how the story will end, maybe it don't allow you to visit omega again.

- I definitely never expected that. The end is done, stop hoping that a magic DLC will "fix" it, won't happen..

Bioware, like Gawd, does listen.

Bioware, like Gawd, just sez "no, GFY".

Yet, all attend church every "challenge".

Praise de Lawd.

yeah...a better ending should have been in the game [since part one] as well.

in any case, i'd take a better ending over a female turian *anyday*

Yeah, I was being ironic. Because everybody who being into BSN knows how much people wanted to see one. My point being: Bioware does listen.
.
And that is a fact. I can't believe anyone who played ME3 can't acknowledge how many references to forum talks there is in that game.
.
The problem is, people want everything they want done in the way they want it. Only one thing doesn't happen and people create topic saying bs like this.

If you're going to increase the price then ofcourse the expectations are going to be significantly higher.

The funny thing is that this is not all, they increased the expectations further with their statements about how good Omega is.

I'm not saying that it is not good yet, not until it is out and I read anough about it. But I don't like what we have seen by now.

That's what happens when you have unrealistic expectations. It's a piece of bloody dlc, there is a limit to how much stuff they can add into it.

Adding a new hub like the citadel would take up so much space that we could only end up with a 30 min long mission.

Adding new squadmates requires so much new dialogue, not just for the new squad memeber but for pre existing NPCs and other squadmates so they can have interactions with the new member.

If anyone really expected this dlc to add a new hub world and anew squadmate combined with a 4 hour mission then you guys need to wake the **** up and get out of dream land.

Yes, we are really listening.

Now, and I know this sounds a little harsh, but there is a difference between "listening" and "obeying". We do listen to fans and take their feedback into consideration when we make games, DLC, balance changes, etc. However, that does not mean we are going to blindly obey what is requested by some people.

Not everyone agrees on what should or should not be in the game. And not everythign that people ask for is possible to be implemented based on the way the code of the game is structured. And not everything is possible for story and design reasons that I can't say.

I know that not all choices made by the team are in line with what all fans want (incoming "you can say that again Priestly" in 3..2...1...), but Omega IS very strong and I think you'll enjoy it if you give it a chance.

I agree with your statement on listening vs obeying though if I can add a critique, Obeying is a bit too harsh IMO. ME is bioware's story and you do take fan feedback. However, there is a difference between listening to the fans and running with their ideas.

That is why we got some nods to IT in the EC, a nod to multiplayer in Leviathan (and maybe to dinosaur DLC in leviathan), and why we get harbinger removed...wait :(

Can't you just tell the writers/devs/anything Please...please just give us a fight with harbinger at the beammm. I don't care if it disproves IT and you can even keep teh ending the way it is. All that buildup for...

Its like hearing about how bad @ss bane is then having him tell how he will tear you and all your friend apart then at the final battle he just looks at you and runs away. Sense is not made. Come On Priestly! You know how awesome and rewarding it would be to have shep say 'this hurts you' before shooting a laser through harbinger! You know you do!

Look I know fans can be harsh sometimes but I really do appreciate your feedback.

Adding a main hub via DLC seemed to be technically possible back in ME2. LoTSB had a substantial amount of content and at the end of it we were able to revisit the Shadow Broker base. I wasn't really expecting a Citadl-quality hub, but something like the Shadow Broker base would have been great.

aye .. its a about setting priorities.

pleasing a big chunk of the playerbase is something to put at the end of your agenda. even if i could please only 25% of my fanbase with an new ending, i would order my writers to do so. adding without changing the old content would make everyone happier.
