Chris,

No offense, but you have just as much say in the games as the rest of us. That is, zero.

Just because you occasionally chime in on the forums (your job), does not mean Bioware (the developer side) is listening.

They listen and participate on the MP foruns. If the SP forum wasn't this overreaction all the time, maybe you would get a lot more participation from the developers, and would see their discussing ideas here, but let be honest, this place is depressive. It's like having a facebook with thousands friends, all of them ended their relantionships with their girlfriends some months ago, none of them was able to move on, so all you get in your feed is crying about how they are suffering, every subject is turned into complainings and cryings, annoying as f*ck, there's no soul on earth that would be able to deal with this kind of thing.

I'd like it to be known that the opinions of this post do not necessarily represent the majority view of Mass Effect players. I'd also like it known that while I cannot speak for everyone else, I personally deeply appreciate the Efforts of Bioware and the Mass Effect team to make ME3 the best possible game it can be especially with the inclusion of the Extended Cut and their near futile attempt to incorporate fan feedback into future DLC.

So...the fans don't like it because they think its going to suck before it comes out, based on some gameplay footage and the bullet points by the gaming-sphere, due to how much it is?

Really guys? Are you serious right now?

When it turns out to be EXACTLY like what people are saying and the bullet points are spot on, are you going to come back and admit you were wrong?

Nope. And people like you are exactly why Bioware feels it can ignore the fans, because some of them will simply go right along with whatever they make and not make waves.

The BSN anti-whining comission is getting to be really boring...

some of us didn't like what Bioware present us to catch our interest... how does it make it our problem? When you present a trailer, advance or whatever of a game movie or whatever, it's to try to make people interested in what are you're goign to realease... you don't get that result? it's your problem, it's not a problem of potential customers...

we're judging what we know at the moment, what's wrong with that? does it spoil your exciment for omega that some of us, so far, think it doesn't look like it's $15 worthy?

i love the serious snub to the single player game with the N7 day stuff. Multiplayer get stuff and single player gets........ yep nothing. Oh sorry a few posters that to be fair any of us could do.

so does bioware listen to anyone who cannot be arsed to play multiplayer?

I dont think so. Single player game has become invalid.

If i wanted to play multiplayer i'd be on black ops or Guild Wars 2 (cracking game).

I think this is the main problem.

I understand Chris point of view, but he forgets the best part: "If you do not have something the people wants, you will sell nothing"

So, meh.

Not interested in omega. I seeked mainly character depth and ending change. Neither, so, no interest. Lost it when I saw the entire game.

This DLC would have been a success if released on day 2. Same for Javik.

Not now.

This is what you face:

1. We just want BW to expand the ending, you know add more to it. Looking at MEHEM a lot of people are happy with it. Just give us one more choice or ten more so we can choose what we want. More variety is good.

2. Nobody said/saw that omega dlc won't add anything to the ending. No information = no point in complaining. After it comes out and IS bad then we can complain. Now can we please stop those hate threads and save them for later?

Or Space Marine. Is one of the funniest MP I have played. You have team vs team, cooperative against horde, and all vs all. Well balanced, smooth and very customizable.

@LeandroBraz
And why would BioWare listen to a fan, who doesn't even care about a character enough to know that saving him wouldn't even require a cure, especially "magical" cure?
If I choose so, I can save Mordin, Tali, Miranda. If I don't want that - I let them die, because I think it's more fitting. That's what some fans want- choices, so that their Shepard is different from other Shepards. I have nothing against certain characters being dead in your playthrough, so don't tell me and others that we don't have right to be given an option.

Now, about the Omega.
I think that we will have to wait and see, I feel there's going to be a cool story in a DLC. Omega not being a hub is, however, dissapointing, but I can live with that. Perhaps, there are good reasons for that. Anyway, even though I'm not currently buying any DLCs (as a Thane fan I can no longer look at SP) I'm quite interested in Omega DLC as a story. I have never read any novels and comics, but Aria is a strong character, with a mysterious past, I think there will be much revealed and as a story it might be very involving. Also, I have seen many threads where people requested for a female turian, so clearly BioWare does listen to some of a feedback.

I only hope they'll listen to fans, who want more time with ME2 squadmates, especially LI's.

OMEGA DLC - Biggest /?/ and most expensive ME DLC ever.

What are You listening to ?...

Think logically,
- Its already expensive do you really want to increase the cost with additional voice actors
- Existing characters can't die
- Do you really thing DLC that changes the ending will go down well, there are already people moaning that Ashes and Leviathon are essential to the plot that they should be free
- As for the HUB problem, I'm hoping the decision to have a Citadel DLC will enhance that hum to ME1 standards

I hope this gets through bioware people:

The whole whining in the forums is due to loss of trust NO PROBLEM in having an arcade dlc which doesn't add anything substance to the main lore. That given that the game provided enough closure. You know that EC didn't give proper closure even if you are not admitting it. You don't seem to care though because you made a strategic choice to change direction in gaming. That's fine. But doing RPG games is what you do best. Is your collective knowledge. Don't abandon it ,don't risk it because you will end up broke. Maybe not now but in a few years. I hope you reconsider.

That is assuming that this DLC has content to justify costing a whole $15,

How can that it be logical then to say what you said and expect that.
Why would getting voice actors increase the cost when the DLC is already overpriced based on your expectations.

I think han shot first.

I can't believe they are charging that much for a four hour DLC. I mean it looks good but for the price mmm. I will keep my money for the new Skyrim DLC i think.

Yes, we are really listening.

Now, and I know this sounds a little harsh, but there is a difference between "listening" and "obeying". We do listen to fans and take their feedback into consideration when we make games, DLC, balance changes, etc. However, that does not mean we are going to blindly obey what is requested by some people.

Not everyone agrees on what should or should not be in the game. And not everythign that people ask for is possible to be implemented based on the way the code of the game is structured. And not everything is possible for story and design reasons that I can't say.

I know that not all choices made by the team are in line with what all fans want (incoming "you can say that again Priestly" in 3..2...1...), but Omega IS very strong and I think you'll enjoy it if you give it a chance.

I'll never say that somethings is bad until I see it, but seeing how it was advertised as the best DLC yet, I expected more than 50 more minutes of gameplay to justify 50% price increase.

For me it's never an issue if I have the money, but whether it's worth it's price tag.  I'm just annoyed that we aren't getting anything awesome and instead we just get higher price.

And it's obvious Bioware is listening, adding a female Turian and making her more than just a male in the cape is a great way to express that.

So anyone saying that Bio doesn't care at all is either blind or arrogant.

I'm excited for Omega.

Hate the endings (pre/post EC) as much as anyone, and I still hope they'll come around with a future DLC and give us some kind of DA:A type ending expansion.
