Also, why not add a Praetorian cap on Bronze? They're the only faction where the boss respawns endlessly, even on objective waves.

Good changes, particularly happy with the Gold changes to Praetorians. Those things are a pain to take down, but unlike a lot of other bosses you can't really ignore them, so they used up a lot of the spawn budget.

A big set of changes for N7 day - looks great!
Dragoon and Praetorian caps means once you've killed x number of them in a wave, they won't appear anymore. So the Dragoon caps are the equivalent of either one rush of 3 or 2 rushes of 3 (depending on the cap) per wave instead of relentless rushes. Great!
And balancing challenge points - I hope this doesn't lead to more whiny balance threads about how OP certain challenges are...

The dragoon caps mean that after x amount of them in a wave, they won't spawn any more, so more space for guardians. On higher waves guardians spawn more frequently than troopers, so we should see a noticeable uptick in their numbers (probably also centurions and nemesi)

thanks for explaining it! I had thought it meant that 6 (!!!) dragons could all spawn at ononce bioware, thanks for the ultra rare. I got my first paladin, meaning I wont have to get 100 pistol medals for that challengeLandoCalrisian wrote...

While I'm very happy about less dragons spawning and dominating the waves, couldn't you have replaced them with guardians instead of centurions and engineers? I only ask because it still seems like the guardian challenge is still WAY out of balance with the others. I play strictly U/U/Gold and Platinum, and while I've unlocked Geth, Reaper and Collector mastery 2x each, I STILL haven't gotten Cerberus mastery, thanks to Guardians.
And before you say, "farm silver wave 10".....no, just no. I'm not going to farm for any specific enemy. You should be able to complete Cerberus Mastery through normal gameplay, like I did with the other 3 enemy Masteries. Twice.

I have a question, when you say that the pack must be redeemed today what timezone is that based on, or is that based on whatever timezone the player lives in? For instance I am PST, but can't get home until around 10:30PM, so am I screwed?
