There are threads for plot-related funniness, but none AFAIK for combat ones. Please post your combat funnies here.

I'll start with Jarvia. When I opened the door, I expected them to turn hostile immediately. So I open the door and have Morrigan cast Blizzard in the room. No effect - this  was my first experience of the game not triggering the enemies on.

Realize I will need to talk to Jarvia to begin. So my templar goes into the middle of the blizzard, and me and Jarvia have a nice conversation about grinding respective people into the dust, while the blizzard swirls around in the cutscene. Will try to recreate that and post a screenshot. It had me rolling around for a few minutes.

Another funny is when I was fighting Dragonlings in the Temple Ruins. I walk into a room with a lot of Dragonlings, with my party still injured. So I stage a tactical retreat with Morrigan, Wynne, and Leliana back up the long winding passage, with my templar following. Because of the way the game handles aggro, the sequence of people moving up the passage is:

Morrigan - Dragonling- Dragonling - Wynne - Leliana - Dragonling - Dragonling - Fieran - Reaver

Again a moment to pause and ROFL. I wish you could literally lead this conga line all the way back to Genitivi. "Hello, Brother Genitivi, say hello to my little friends!"

The battle with the Archdemon. I summoned the Mages but they did nothing except killing some Darkspawn.

Morrigan and Wynne died (dunno why).

So only Alistair and me (female rogue, human noble, romancing Alistair ^^) were left. The Archdemon moved up to a higher platform and we both attacked him. Alistair protected my PC against the Darkspawn and she took down the Archdemon herself (Nightmare difficulty).



It was a pretty easy fight but it was just awesome. The ending was even better where I became Queen and Alistair King.
