This character was made to replace the GI-melee build.
When you blow fortification it gives bonus to melee. If anyone survives the melee, turn on the flamer, add a shotty to mop up the remains.

Sorry mate. Melee GI gets higher melee bonuses with TC, has better synergy with prox mine and can turn invisible to close distances easily.

Doesn't mean I won't run a melee Geth Trooper :)

Actually changed my mind

6/5/6/4/5

Stronghold V
Focused on recharge delay, actually this geth MAY be the most versatile character released so far...

Power build? Yes.
Weapon build? Yes.
Melee build? Yes.
Tanky build? Yes.

Jack of all trades? Yes.

i think i have to agree here.  so many ways to play him

I'd take fitness to 5 instead of Networked AI to get the 25% Shield Rate. If you take the shield rate in Fortification then stack a Stronghold and Shield Power Cells III you can get a near instant shield recharge.

The Con is that you lose 45% power damage potential for Flamer.

okay, so build wise, here we go...

(i'm not sure of the order on the powers screen in game)
Fortification: Melee Damage, Power Synergy, Durability
Flamer: Reach, Damage, Armor Damage
Hunter Mode: Power Recharge, Power Damage
Networked AI: Damage/Capacity, Power Damage
Advanced Hardware: Melee

and maybe take a Harrier? lol

I would skip power recharge with hunter mode, due to flamer's cooldown mechanics.  It's like cloak, but with no minimum cooldown time, so unless you are going in with 2 heavy weapons, you won't need any more recharge than what the passives give you.

thanks! i thought it worked similarly to TC but couldn't remember specifically.

Mine is.....

Flamer maxed - 4 Reach/5 duration/6 Armor Dmg

Fortification - 4 Durabilit and 5 Power Synergy

Hunter Mode - 4 Power Recharge and 5 Power Dmg

Network AI maxed - 4 Power and Capacity/5 Power Dmg/6 Weapon Dmg + Geth Bonus

Advanced Hardware - 4 Durabilty

Just took him on a run against Reapers Gold - FAN-FRIGGIN-TASTIC.  I armed him with the newly buffed GPR and a GPSMG as a side.  Between Flamer and the GPR nothing had a chance against him.

i honestly think best would be:
Fortification: Durability, Power Synergy, Durability
Flamer: Reach, Damage, Armor
Hunter Mode: Weapon Accuracy, Power Damage, Speed/Vision
Networked AI: Damage/Capacity, Power Damage
Advanced Hardware: 3 points

i think the extra durability on Fortification will be needed versus Weapon Damage bonus but i guess i'll find out soon enough :P
then, roll with a Harrier or a powerful shotty (GPS, Wraith, A-12 Raider), stronghold V/engineering kit V, Cyclonic Mod III, weapon amp III (for shotty/rifle), and disruptor ammo III

wouldn't Fortification Evo 6 Durability be better than Advanced Hardware Evo 4 Durability?

I went with 6/5/6/5/4 Full power to the flamer, went with rank 4 fitness over rank 6 fortification

I haven't tried this out yet though, I had to quit the game sadly right after I unlocked and set him up. If anyone has any suggestions for a weapon to use I was considering the Talon, Hurricane, or Wraith.

This character is a horrible addition to the game. It entirely obsoletes the Vorcha.

I think their low health regen already made them obsolete O_o

Vorcha are still good.  Cry less.

Even with 6/6/6/5/3 he has 1250 shields and the 40% damage reduction from Fortification... If you're used to playing squishy Geth characters you'll be unstoppable with this one. I give him a hard hitting weapon like the Typhoon or Particle Rifle with Disruptor Ammo to strip shields... the armor damage this guy is capable of is insane, you can melt entire spawns

I went 6/6/6/0/6. I feel like thats the build if you want to melee. If you want to kill with Flamer then go .

6/6/6/5/3

I don't have the numbers in front of me at the moment, but I think Durability at Advanced Hardware 4 helps more than Durability at Fortification 6.

Always speed and vision, I primarily use it for the enhanced vision and thanks to the HM nerf the "enhanced vision" is actually pretty pathetic unless you spec specifically for it.

The damage difference between GI and GT is like 7%. I think the right question is: do you want more survivability on the way in (Tactical Cloak), or more survivability on the way out (Fortification)?

from what I see so far and as mentioned a month ago, cooldown-less.
if I were going flamer though I'll probably skip hunter mode entirely.

Good idea. There's probably no situation in which wallhack and +60 DPS on the flamer would really come in handy anyway.

Guys 6/6/6/5/3 is the best way to go really. Fortification gives you good damage reduction that you honestly don't need extra shields. Just puta stronghold V on him and you are good to go.
