 I used a power reset and completly left out flamer. Boosted his shields to max and upped all weapon damage bonuses. Then attached a Cerberus Harrier and I'm trying to find the best secondary weapon (Geth Plasma shotgun is ok), Javelin less ok.

Just extracted from a platnum with him and he did really well. Keep hunter mode off for the most part untill you need to do massive damage.
