Yeah, the op of that thread confirmed those were just what he hoped would be War Assets.Mesina2 wrote...

There might be an option between letting Aria kill her or killing Aria.

It would be nice if, for once, Shepard actually stood up to Aria. I'm tired of being her b*tch.

I don't think Walters likes Aria that much because you can already kill characters like Wrex, Mordin, Legion, Ashley and Kaidan personally.MisterJB wrote...
That's all I want. But Walter likes Aria way too much to let her die.

It is already confirmed that you can defy Aria in Omega DLC.
That's already lot more then what you can do with Liara, Walter's pet character.

Didn't one of the dev's a while back point out that Petrovsky was loyal to Cerberus? Meaning he is always going to be looking to kill you. He is a good character, it does not mean he makes a good ally.
And so was Miranda.
Even more then Oleg, in fact.
And yet, she become a good ally.

For me, more than a good ally. An integral member of my team. My second in command. And later she becomes my Shepard's love.
TIM was a good character, and he was at first a good ally once too.

It could be pretty interesting if you could talk to Oleg and he would mention Miranda in some ways. Like maybe being her mentor or something..
Oleg strikes me as one of the guys who used to be in the alliance, but grew disillusioned with them and left for Cerberus.
Miranda's mentor was also TIM. I believe that until he went bat**** high off reaper tech, he was grooming her to be his successor.

That's a good question, who would have succeeded TIM?
I don't think there was a official successor put in.
But the best options are either Miranda or Oleg.

He's a good soldier, squad leader and biotic.
While that's good, that's not enough of qualification for him to be leader of Cerberus.
Plus, he's too much of a moralist.
And I am talking about ME2 Jacob, cause I have no idea who the hell is ME3 Jacob.
Some security guy, I guess.

Miranda would have been perfect, but I think TIM started getting a little bit too brutal towards the end. She realizes this, which is why she leaves them. She quits on the CB with me.

And how exactly was it that Bioware handled the Destroy ending? Was it denied to you? I don't believe so.
Because that is what we are talking about here.

Sure, he might be a good pizza delivery boy and sometimes you need a pizza delivered but he's just not CEO material.

That is how it was handled
Edit..to specify, it was handled in an insanely unsatisfactory way, regardless of why, but in general the drones dismiss that hence my wish

And how is that related to this topic? We are complaining about the absence of meaningfull choices in the Omega DLC; chief amongst them, the ability to side with Petrovsky who we might respect over Aria; and the possibility of character mutilation of said General.
You could choose Destroy. We can't choose what we want.
