My point stands. You might feel that Destroy was handled unsatisfactorily and that's fine. But you had least had the option.

And don't call "drones" anyone who might disagree with you.

So, Crimzon, your stance is that you can't think your way out of the rubble, thus Destroy sucks, thus Omega should suck too because... petty?

I'd rather that Bioware's writing start to suck less, but that's just me.

I don't get that argument.

Because you felt cheated on one thing, others should also feel same for different thing?

And that's with assuming that others didn't felt cheated for that same thing.

What kind of argument is that?

"yeah for all you know that could be Shepard's last breath, we do not want to tell you or show you anymore, go ahead and speculate/headcanon"

That is how it was handled

And how is that related to this topic? We are complaining about the absence of meaningfull choices in the Omega DLC; chief amongst them, the ability to side with Petrovsky who we might respect over Aria; and the possibility of character mutilation of said General.
You could choose Destroy. We can't choose what we want.

Ok let me add here,

With the EC bioware had the chance to give us something a LOT of us considered  extremely important and that is clear closure for Destroy Shepard...they elected to give us a lovely middle finger in spite of the insane amount if homogeneous feedback about it. As we are upset a lot of people including the OP and others who voiced their desires here, brush us off condescendingly.

With Omega Bioware has the same opportunity to give the fans something they REALLY consider important which is the choice to side with Petrovsky and give Aria what she deserves. And I hope they fail to deliver, maybe the some will understand how we feel.

Well.......that's a very mature way of thinking.

no, you are skipping a step. Bioware's writing will not improve if people keep patting them on the back and telling them all is well and the unhappy fans are entitled children

So you won't be happy until everyone is as miserable about it as you are? Is that really the attitude you want governing any aspect of your life?

You do know majority of people who beaten ME3 went for Destroy?

So a majority ain't satisfied either.

So you want to make upset for other thing, who are ALREADY upset for same thing you are upset?!

And that's with minority being fully satisfied with own choices.

Yes, I want people to be upset, I do not wish for them to be upset because they disagreed with me and I feel they deserve to be punished. I want them to be upset so Bioware will have no choice but to start listening and changing.

You assume I myself would not cherish the opportunity to kick Aria in the Asari equivalent of testicles. I would.

Mass Effect 3 and Bioware's attitude made me bitter, turned me from one of their most loyal fans into this. It is time for a change. But change will only happen if Bioware starts listening and they will not unless things get REAL ugly first

They've already gotten really ugly. I'm not going to stick around and contribute to it if things go even further downhill with Omega... I'll simply walk. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life - and if it's any consolation, losing customers will ultimately hurt them more than having one more person ****ing on the boards. It's no skin off my nose what direction they choose to go as a company. I've got other things to do.

and the more upset people swaying potential customers away from bioware there are the quicker they will begin to hurt. Truth is, the negativity I have here is offset be other games that are making me feel a lot better about the industry

Wait, are we complaining because we might not be able to side with Mass Effect 3's space "not"zis? I personally hope he gets turned into an adjutant or we can mercy kill him when he gets infected.

Sajuro, Petrovsky is TIM's antithesis. Apart from being both Cerberus, they couldn't be more different. I would like to see more basically decent people in Cerberus because they represent pushing the envelope in science and technology. How Cerberus was portrayed is partly responsible for the anti-science vibe I get from the ME trilogy and how everything that's the least bit controversial turns out to be connected to some evil bastard or space N*zi.

^. Blasphemy. We must all hate Cerberus, SuperMac has decreed it.

I hope they don't seriously alter Petrovsky's character in Omega (though I honestly wouldn't be surprised at this point if they did). In spite of him being Cerberus, he does seem an honourable sort; he saves Aria from Ashe's ambush, he questions the Illusive Man over his motives, and tries to avoid unnecessary deaths, both of his own people and of civilians. I think he would be alarmed if he was aware of the true depths that Cerberus has sunk to in ME3.

However, I don't think we should be able to side with him completely, for the same reasons I think anybody who sides with the ME equivalent of the N*zis is out of their god-damned mind. What could be done is that you could try to convince him to leave Cerberus (especially if you've cleared Horizon and learned what they were doing to the refugees in Sanctuary), bring his talents in to help with the Crucible (even though it will make absolutely naff-all difference). Aria may not like it, as she'll want him dead, but frankly I think that stuck-up cow needs to learn that she can't always have her way.

That's basically what I'm asking for, BD Manchild: to convince Petrovsky to defect, not from his cause, but from TIM's methods. I don't think he'd agree to having his troops huskified, and you can make a very good argument that at this point, protecting humanity is best achieved by working with Shepard. He's the one putting the fleet together to attack the Reapers in the Sol system after all.
