I do, I was just trying to see the EPIC CONSEQUENCE for picking the other side.
Edit: I also picked Destroy so they and EDI would die.

It was one hell of a troll run. My only regret was not encouraging EDI and Joker to date(would have made Destroy even sweeter).

Am I to assume you went in with minimal EMS and scorched the entire galaxy then? Or at least cured the genophage so the krogan can screw over everyone instead?Seboist wrote...

I sabotaged the genophage. >_<
I should have cured it for Wreav since Eve dies....
Unfortunately I had to do the crappy fedex quests in order to get the trophy for having a high ems value.

That's exactly my problem with this DLC. Why the hell should I care about or help these two? I'd much rather help Miranda, Jack, Kasumi, or Zaeed in whatever they are doing.Ieldra2 wrote...
Now I hear that there'll be an important decision - between Aria and Nyreen, two characters I don't care for, or about.

Disappointing, then; a true Evil Troll Shepard would have unleashed Wreav on the galaxy.Seboist wrote...

Also, if you were going for all of the achievements, does that mean that you were forced to romance Liara in order to get the Paramour achievement?

Wreav one was an oversight!
No way would I romance Liara. I had Traynor for that chievo.

I don't envy how bad the squad selection must be on a troll run though.

I was only missing two characters in that run (Killed Kaidan in "coup" but I had also killed him in my main run) and Tali who died in the Rannoch mission. Thankfully I was able to get "from ashes" for free from a relative so I could have my team from the PC version here(Javik and James).

Liara can wear a strapon so your argument is invalid.Seboist wrote...
Well, for a male Shepard you have Cortez (which is better than Liara).
Also she can use her Shadow Broker sound mask if you prefer a masculine voice.

Then there'd have to be two different defection options, because I consider Petrovsky's cause to be evil, as is all of Cerberus'. If he can be a war asset, fine; I took Balak, after all. However, I want Cerberus dead, gone and buried, and I don't want any chance of Petrovsky starting anything up again.Ieldra2 wrote...
That's basically what I'm asking for, BD Manchild: to convince Petrovsky to defect, not from his cause, but from TIM's methods. I don't think he'd agree to having his troops huskified, and you can make a very good argument that at this point, protecting humanity is best achieved by working with Shepard. He's the one putting the fleet together to attack the Reapers in the Sol system after all.

In wars, you don't have the luxury to choose who you want to help. You got to put personal feelings and prejudices against potential allies aside to combat an unconquerable enemy like the Reapers. Helping Aria retake Omega increases her commitment to helping Shepard defeat the Reapers tenfold... Or a hundredfold.

Perhaps then it's not for you to let him live. As I see, it's an option for those who were somewhat ambiguous about Cerberus's goals since ME2.Xilizhra wrote...

An alternative: if we get an option for convincing Petrovsky to defect, it's never specified what exactly is the motivation behind it. That way, we can make up our preferred backstory.

I only kill people when they might live in Dragon Age (Kelder, Danarius, Castillon). As of now, I've never found a reason to kill anyone in ME who could otherwise survive, and my general ethos would likely prevent that with Petrovsky as well, unless he was openly declaring an intent to restart Cerberus.Ieldra2 wrote...

Meh. Nothing special about that guy.

That's what I said about Anderson.
Good for you.
At least Anderson helped people and Shepard while that ass was spewing out nonsense left and right.
Oooh, he cares about his people. I have never seen an officer like that before.

Actually, thanks to EMS, I do have the luxury. It literally doesn't matter if I speak to Aria at all. So it's in the best interest of the devs to give me some reason to care about Omega. Saving Petrovsky would do that.

if i remember correctly, it was said in an article that you could side towards Nyren (paragon) or Aria (renegade).

After that, he/she could then find opportunity to go against Aria and wipe her out and her troops, since she would never surrender.
Better to have an ex-Cerberus as an asset then some criminal lord.
