Omega is a shooter DLC, nothing more. So ofc Petrovsky will die like all other "bad guys"... Did you honestly think you could choose to kill him or leave him alive, like we used to in ME1?

We can always hope right? Unlikely though it is.

Well if Petrovsky is character assassinated i'll pass this DLC and imagine my own story for Omega.

As for Asari. The Beacon info has to come out imo. The actions of a handful of Asari matriachs should be just as mainstream as the actions of TIM and should be learned from. My Shep will try and stop a witchhunt against other members of Asari government just as he will try and stop a witchhunt against people with links to cerberus.

I still see it as having value to no one, except those trying to claw for dominance for their own species.

. Like EVERY species does?  Salarian STG, Asari Commandoes, they are designed to give their species an edge.  These groups will always exist there is no getting around that.

And the steps needed to get rid of them would lead to an autocracy so oppressive you'd create a thousand Cerberuses of every race looking to get rid of the Reapers.

I don't need to get rid of any out of hand; here, I'm just trying to keep one secret secret.

Oleg Petrovsky. The man who forbid the use of explosives for the risk it posed on the civillians of Omega a "merciless bastard'?

Yes, I purposely picked one with a chess set.

A great RPG isn't a game that tells us a wonderful story, it's a game that lets us tell our story. I know that in a conputer game that relies a lot on illusion, but I used to buy Bioware's illusions. In Mass Effect 3 I couldn't. It feels that in their eagerness to tell us what they thought was an awesome story, they took Shepard away from me and made me a spectator.

Maybe just maybe we will get the chance to call Aria out on her bullsh*t, but I doubt it.

Also in ME: Invasion he saved Aria's life, throwing her to the tunnels - away from Ashe and his soldiers.

You are all fools who bought the ME comic books and thought they mattered.

You have no one to blame but yourselves...

Pretty much, that's what really destroyed ME3 for me. Not some BS Catalyst crap, but the fact I was railroaded to be fighting against Cerberus and then allowed to pick Control at the end?

WTF.

Well. He didn't use any explosives TO NOT KILL Omega citizens and saved Aria's life from Ashe in comics... Well. I think that Aria is just an ungrateful person. :police:

To be fair, those are the words of a petulant crime lord who wants her haven back. She might be distorting.

Might.

I miss the good ol' days when we could speculate what future DLC could bring us and when Taboo was just a chicken.

Hehe - this. Anyway, I will be pleasantly surprised if Oleg Petrovsky manages to escape the faith off all morally ambiguous characters in Mass Effect. I will buy this DLC even though I don't give a fig for Aria (don't know, maybe 'cause I'm female, but really, I don't find anything about her compelling - in game she had stupid attitude, in novel - even more meh and in comic - she's just not my cup of tea, always felt her as forced in to like).

Lets see what will happen in this DLC... but somehow, this time, just not that excited.

Between Cerberus or Queen of Pirates. I rather side with Cerberus.  Oleg Petrovsky is cool in my book. Aria is interesting as a villian.
