I got the Saber VIII which was neither my highest UR (That was Black Widow VIII) nor my most used UR. That said, I am damn happy about it since I do like the Saber quite a bit, it just was not my most coveted item.

(I already owned all the weapons prior to N7 Day.)

I didn't unlock the Collector SMG (and don't really want to) and the pack gave me a Valkyrie, so yay!

I got a Talon, the only UR I didn't have. The only weapon I don't have at all yet is the Valkyrie.

Finally got the Paladin I. It's of virtually no use to me since I've the Carnifex X, but whatever. It's nice to finally have it at least.

No. I did not get the weapon I wanted and I'm still missing a couple ultra rares and didn't get either of them.  Not that I'm complaining, a free ultra-rare is nice.

I got the Harrier, which is good, I've felt like I've needed a good automatic AR for awhile.

I think what they did is the following:

1) Give everyone an ultra-rare weapon.

2) If there is are ultra-rare weapons that the player does not own, they get one of those.

3) If the player already has all ultra-rares maxed out, they get a promotional weapon.

Otherwise, they get a level in a randomly selected ultra-rare.

Not for me. Got a scorpion upgrade, and I still lack the collector SMG.

It's actually pretty good.  Throw it on an infil with stability three mod.  It isn't the best around, but it's pretty good in all situations.

I accounted for that option at the bottom of page 1 of this topic, but even so there seem to be many more exceptions, so that theory can also go out the window.
